I think these guys should have just wheeled with us instead of paying Dan Mick a crap-ton of money to show them around.
Most of us on the trail had been there last when Ken's rear output yoke assploded, so we all bypassed this climb, but Neil made it right up after Sean and I explained the Moab Bump.
Pat came SO close to making it up. The QuadraDrive worked great the next day on PSM a couple times, but just wasn't sending power to the other wheels on Tip Over.
After a lot of coercing Neil made his attempt and went right up.
Did a quick resize to 800x600, didn't pull out any bad shots yet. I'll clear out the yuck and do 1024x768 and post those up later.

Nice wheelstand by Putz
He looks like he's soiling himself
We decided to forego the rest of the trail with the nasty winds we had up on top of the Mesa, so we turned back.
Now that I've seen you do it full-bodied, I just might have to take the Dave line on the Wedgie

Nahhh....Putz just needs another 4 hours on the 17 Hour Skid
and thanks to you for taking the time to help me double check my tcase yoke and hub bearings.
I pulled into the Redstone after my x-country trek with a nagging noise. I first noticed it in Grand Junction as I stopped for fuel. I couldn't track it down. The mystery noise finally revealed itself on the return trip home in Ohio. I woke Friday morning to find a big green puddle under the heep in the motel parking lot. The water pump bearing was shot bigtime. I hit the autozone in St. Clairsville, Ohio and picked up a new pump and coolant, said a prayer, and hit I-70 east for the remaining 371 miles. I limped it home with a loud ‘whirring’ noise coming from under the hood.
and btw, I never realized how much I love the smell of green grass. I also have a new found affection for humidity.
Glad you made it back in one piece Ron. See you next year!
Here's the dump of my photo roll. Tried to embed a Flickr slideshow but seems not an option on MC so you need to click the link cause there's too many to post here.

Adam - I love the commentary on the photos - those are great!
Ron - Fuel damn sure adds up!
Been back from GSW 2012 for a week now and even though I bent the unibody on my ZJ climbing Rose Garden Hill, and had some other mechanical issues, I still had a real good time. I sure appreciate the help I got from the trial bosses, Todd and Jeremiah. There are some great pics that were posted too. I look foward to going again next year. Maybe I can improve my driving skills by then.
