Had a thought the other day while wheeling with some friends about removing the back windows and replacing them with removable plastic windows like wranglers have. Have them either attach with snaps, velcro, or zippers. It would just be the hatch and the two C/D pillar rear windows. Got the idea while attaching tow straps to the roll cages of friends Jeeps to help prevent roll over and though I can't do that to my Jeep, that might come in handy one day.Thoughts?

If you have a cage or at least a stifferner then the window idea would be pretty cool. The windows add a lot of structure to a ZJ.
Seems like a lot of work for not a lot of gain. I can't think of a situation in 10+ years of wheeling my ZJ where I would have done that, even when I had the ability to actually do it.
Pretty sure that Jeep engineers put enough rigidity in the rest of the Jeep to not have to rely on a couple pieces of glasses for strength.
Lol I'll keep that in mind next time.
