A little more than 2 months to go!
For me:
Trackbar bushing replacement - I didn't keep up with the bolts, and my 60d KOR bushings got sloppy. Just got the new ones today from Kevin - DONE!
New boots on my Currie TREs - 2/3 done...the pitman arm side is stuck like it's welded...and that's the worst of the boots
Full Clayton inspection, tighten everything up, make sure the welds are all holding up
Partial tuneup - plugs are pretty new, but cap and rotor are getting old. Need to troubleshoot the hard starts I've had lately. -- Battery disconnects appear to be resetting the computer, hard starts are better.
Find whatever the hell kills my Optima overnight if the dome lights have been used at all....grrrr!!! - DONE! Fan controller was the culprit...installed a kill switch for when I'm parked overnight.
Typical TC/Diff/Crankcase oil changes - my Clayton belly skid should make the TC interesting - DONE!
Possibly balljoints, I think these are getting pretty worn
Shopping list for consumables
Better spill kit packaging - I like Dave's catch pan with a screw-on top. Absorbent and pig-mat fit inside those really well.
Replenish the spare fluids in my ammo box
Make sure my existing spare parts are in there, and find room for the others I've always meant to bring
Holy shit that's a helluva list. Better than last year I guess. That was Clayton install
Add on 4.5" RE coils from 93ZeeJay...hopefully...

Nothing since I don't think I will be coming. Trying to get a promotion at work and taking off the last thing I want to ask for now. Maybe if I don't get it, I will come.
Glad to see the trail list got expanded. I ran Kane Creek on Saturday and it is very washed out. If you don't like really tippy spots, don't run it but once you get through the tippy section, the lower creek section is very fun.
Add one to my list...the dirty fawking shithole twatmonster assfuck Choad Hose
Stupid bypass hose....4 inches of hose, buried under the accessory bracket. Explains why the Heep dribbles coolant though!
Install Kevin's Hard-KOR steering stabilizer - done
Get front end aligned - done
Get new 33's installed - done
Go to Moab for pre-run with Jeremiah and family (Join us) - done
Make first drive to Moab with camp trailer - done
Maybe get spring under on trailer - done
See what else needs fixed after Moab trip - ???
Replace front windshield

submit vacation request form - DONE
Need to cancel registration - not going this year
I put on my new shocks last weekend, get my windshield done next week and hope to have my front driveshaft re-balanced next week too. Other than that just basic maintenance items.
No, but you can get plenty of shit from me for not going Andy
rebuilt front CV this morning
Spicer 211355X
Spicer 5-1310-1X
Sudz, I need a rear ds not a front.
oops
i'm doin' my rear ds this week, the spicer 5-1310-1X joints are niiiice. triple seal with a 60 duro flexible blue sealing ring to top it off, cold forged, serviceable cross
got 'em here
Added a brake fluid flush today...Speed Bleeders FTW - 30 minutes with 2 beer breaks and I'm done
Looks like Saturday will be for finishing up the Heep and making sure the trailer is in good shape. I'll pick that up from my brother's house on Friday.
Well I was going to do something about my steering and cocked steering wheel but as luck would have it Currie made a mess of shipping so instead of last week HD drag link and tie rod will show up Monday. Awesome. Not. So pretty much maintenance and that's all done. While changing rear diff fluid I discovered that I've no breather on the axle and the plug damn near exploded when I loosened it. Just glad that I haven't actually blown the seals, they must be some tough motherfuckers. I got my flopping exhaust fixed so pretty much pack-and-go and I ain't got much to pack.
I picked up my front driveshaft today all newly balanced.
Everything else is done
New Shocks all around
relocated CB antenna
wired up lights
cleaned up Jeep inside and out to make my wife happy.
lengthend my spare rear drive shaft
new windshield
touch up the hood and bumper
re-packed the rear
filled CO2 and fire extinguisher
oil change
Yep I am ready to go. See you all in a week.
