I think we're Thursday - Sunday (4 days). Sundays are usually smaller with easier trails.

I know it may be a little late for this thought, but is it an eighty somerthing mile drive to the Elephant Hill trailhead? Just wondering how long a day to plan for.

    See y'all Thursday AM

It is. Myself and the rest of the Elephant Hill group will be leaving the breakfast before 10AM. I ran EH last October, rolling through the NP gates just before noon, and we were able to run down to Chesler Park, hike to the Joint, go back to the Confluence and make that hike, and make it back out of the park by about 6:30. We won't be making the trek down to Chesler and the Joint, so that should save quite a bit of time for us. The trail isn't really all that long, and most of it is pretty smooth so we should make good time, but will probably be making it back to town around 7PM. To make things easier, make sure you're aired UP, swaybars connected, and a full tank of gas for the highway drive before getting to the breakfast.
