Broke another yukon. This time a stub.
I have been trying for 3 weeks to get the dealer to respond on my warranty claim. His name is Tyler Ely with AllJeep and he apparently bought the business from the dealer I bought my shafts through several years ago. When I contacted the original guy on my last failure he had me contact Tyler who did help me with the warranty. But this time I can't even get a response.
Anybody been through this or have any suggestions? From prior experience I know yukon won't give you the time of day if you bought through a dealer and try a warranty claim direct. All I need is an RGA # to mail this thing back to yukon and get a new one. A new shaft is worth $100 (retail price) to me so if anyone can help I have a tasty beer in camp with your name on it.
I'll point them over to this thread for you Cam. They're a couple local guys that run it on RME4x4.com.
edit: You should be hearing from them soon. Got a couple PM's back from them and Tyler said he'd get in touch with you.

Tyler thanks a ton man. Apparently I had just been lost in the shuffle when their email server went under attack.
I got a call and an email from (the other) Tyler this morning and a new shaft is on the way. He was extremely apologetic and excellent to deal with.
Now to uphold my end of the deal: bring that rig of yours east and the beer's on me
The shaft was on my doorstep tonight. Really impressive turnaround and proof that Ty is on the ball and only the technical difficulties were to blame. Thanks again Tyler for getting us connected and yeah, head east and come wheel whenever you can!
BTW the new Yukon stubs look to be of higher quality than their earlier design. I'm glad to see them pursuing improvement. Hope it holds up even better too.
