Well I am happy to report I just cancelled my Reservation at Canyonlands Campground for this event, so there is a Motorhome site now available for someone...




Sorry, but I will still be there, just made Reservations at OK RV Park out on Spanish Valley Drive as it it less then $20.00 per night where Canyonlands was over $45.00 per night. My problem is that I may not have my ZJ with me or even own a ZJ at the time, but I will still be there to see all the great people I have met at past GSW Events.

Ted, glad to hear that you're making it but I hope that you still have your Jeep or another Grand so that you can drive. Either way, see you in 6 months.

I was mulling over going this year but it seems the choice has been made for me. Brother decided to drop by on a visit and what better place to take him than some rock crawlin' in good company.

Seeing that the Redstone is booked solid (of course) anyone can recommend the hangout? Over the years every time I was @ GSW I stayed with Cody in a condo and I completely don't know what's what and where. I'll call around but would love to stay where others do as well.

Adam, I haven't talked to anyone about the condo this year. Since I don't have a ZJ, I don't know what my situation will be. I may come down and stay for just a night, or I may come down for longer. I won't know much until we're closer.

You can try the Big Horn for rooms...it's right across the street from the Red Stone and I think it's owned by the same people.

Get on the waiting list at Redstone. No guarantees, but there are usually cancellations within our party or by others not connected to GSW.

A group of us got a condo last year. Worked out good, was about the same price as if we all stayed in redstone, we all had a night to cook dinner, and had a 2 car garage to fix out junk. I think we might plan on doing that again this year assuming we all can make it.

Looks like I'll be missing GSW by a couple of days. I'll be there the week before, and will probably be leaving on the 7th or so. If I happen to stay an extra day, I'll definitely look for everybody to say hello. Would be nice to meet a couple of you old timers.
