Putz is heading out from IL on Tuesday and then we'll be heading to Moab on Wednesday. We will probably leave Denver around 1:00 or 2:00. Pam has a work conference earlier that week, so she will be flying into Grand Junction and we'll pick her up there about 6:00p and then continue on to Moab.

With any luck, we should be on the road before then from Denver. We'll see.

I am trying to get Thursday off work too. If it works out, I should be able to be on the road Wednesday at 3 or 4ish so I might see yall. If not, I will be leaving Thursday. :-(

Wouldn't be a GSW trip if there wasn't some threat to I-70, fires, sinkholes, propane tanks, floods . . .

Did you guys have a lot of snow this winter like a couple years ago when the rivers were all high? Or is this due to heavy rains? Either way, it should make for some interesting rapids as we drive through

Ooooodles of snow, and lately very hot (for this time of year) temperatures = rapid snow melt.

Most areas are double to triple their average snowpack right now.
