    I need as many pics as I can get of the bellhousings and starter locations for either Jeep or dodge please. Im trying to decide if I can get away with a driver side starter on my my rig when I do the engine swap. I know the starter is kind of high up on the driver side of dodge and iirc the starter is low on the pass side of a jeep to clear the oil filter. Post up anything you got.

    not high up at all. I was very close to hitting it with re short arm uppers at 4 5".

    Thanks for the info. I found your thread on sf but it died before any type of conclusion like alot of others on there.

    Is still going. I'll check my photo bucket and see if there's a good shot of the trans installed from the drivers side

    Finished it. So did you ever flex it out before you longarmed it to check starter clearance?

    yeah, it was mighty close but never hit.

    if there's any more pictures you need or questions you have. lmk. looks like your swap will be right in line with everything i've done before.

    We'll see. Im going to look at a 97 zj 2wd today. Maybe I'll just have to swap over the od housing.
