I'm gonna try to make it but it depends on my work schedule, so I'm not sure if I will be able to yet.
So when will there be a "roll call" thread?
Yeah!! I'll get in touch with Stu if it looks like I'm gonna be able to make it, we should be able to fit both our rigs on my gooseneck without any trouble. I carry 2 cherokee based buggys all the time so Stu's Jeep should fit just fine.
So how is the lodging going to work? is this a find your own, or we gonna rent one large house? if not who is lookin for someone to go in on a place with?
The lodging will be different than last year when we all crashed in one cabin. At GMP they have individual bunkhouses on site that rent for $50/night. They sleep at least two. More if you really like each other.

There are also a bunch of hotels nearby as the city of Cookeville is only about 20 minutes away.
As Ryan said, yes, it's find your own. We may all end up near each other, but we won't be arranging lodging for everybody. Feel free to use this thread to organize though...
I plan on staying in the bunk houses, as long as they allow beer drinking at night!
Thats right Trey, I forgot
So when is everyone planning on getting there? I plan on getting there Thursday evening and leaving Sunday morning.
Also, how many people going to try and stay at the bunkhouse and how many are camping?
I'm pretty sure I'll get there Friday am (9ish) and head out late Saturday night.
Not sure where I'm staying yet though. Probably the bunkhouses of there is a spot available.
I was thinking about camping but if it's too cold I may say eff it and go in on a bunkhouse. From the pics it looks like there are only two beds per bunkhouse, for a max of 3 people, but I don't see any reason a few people couldn't use some floor space. Would make the costs more reasonable and there are only ~5 bunkhouses anyway, IIRC, so it would give more than 10-15 people a warm place to sleep.
yeah, im playing it by ear too.. If its warm enough to camp i'll camp, if not i'll try to find a bunkhouse to crash in.
More than likely i'll be getting there Thursday evening.. leaving sunday afternoon
Guess ill just play it by ear myself and bring an air mattress..... I reckon ill be coming down thrusday afternoon and leaving on sunday afternoon. Ill be there on 35's....
Well looks like I am not going to be able to make it now:
Dumb ass kid was flying through the neighborhood at 2am, high, and slammed head on into the PARKED jeep... Whole front axle is screwed, and looks like the uni is tweaked from the front axle being shoved back and the Clayton's being so dang strong. He hit it so hard it pushed the jeep 4 feet backwards.
Dayum! Sorry to hear Clay. Did the axle bend or did it just screw up the steering. Did the unibody buckle anywhere? Totaled?
I gotta say it looks like you Jeep took it a lot better than his car!
OUCH! Steel bumpers are sweet. So lets hear your plans to rebuild, or start another project?
Wow! Sorry to hear that, Clay! At least no one was in your Jeep when it happened!
Keep us posted with how you plan to rebuild it! Or are you just going to take your insurance money and join dollforum.com?
