It did not come with a docking station. I use it primarily as a design computer. i also got a 22" monitor. Before i had a timy minotor and it sat ontop of the laptop, ontop of my desk at work. THis was no good. I want to hide it.
so i'm building a shelf for under my desk, to hide the computer. THis is no ordinary shelf. Airflow must be considered, as well as heat disipation.
so here it is.....
5052-O aluminum, so it disipates heat. and dimpled holes for air flow. i haven't set up the dimple dies in SW on the lap top yet. so no dimples until its finished tomorrow.
the flat layout is done. the holes are punched i just need to form it. then to a write-up on the desk install
Everything you touch gets dimpled
I'm about to be "that guy," but that pic almost got me seriously burned at work today. I have zero beef with tittays in threads, but mebbe holler with a NSFW in the title...especially in the tech forums.... if you wanna help keep a homie employed. Maybe? Am I being unreasonble?
Not trying to be a dick...just want to be able to safely surf MC while I should be working.

hey. i thought that was SFW.
who edited my post?
I agree. And if I'm surfing in a public place, I'll go into my control panel, and turn off avatars and "inline photos" - anyone can do that. That way you can safely browse, and click on the image link to see what's what. I suggest it if you want to browse chit chat or anything.
Nice laptop...
