Heading out to Tahoe via the Pony Express. Should be 5 days and 600 miles of dirt road action. You should be able to see our progress via the APRS setup on one of our rigs

    http://aprs.fi/?call=ke7fyq-1&mt=roa...imerange=86400

It will update speed, google map location, and elevation every few minutes, but it is dependent upon HAM repeaters. If we can't hit any repeaters you may see some gaps in the reporting.

Natalie and I were going and try and meet up with you guys at Sand Mt. /Sand Springs Pony Express Station.
Did you guys get to go by there and check it out?
Sorry we missed you, Maybe next time.

Just got in. I guess there was some technical difficulties with the APRS tracking between Simpson Springs and who-knows-where. All in all we did 1300 miles and about 500 on dirt. We hoped to do more but random mechanical issues and a gas station without gas cost us about 3 hours each day and some impromptu route changes. Killer trip though, and I'll post pics when i have time to catch back up.

Ron, sorry we didn't meet up. We were moving pretty fast and had some routes change on the fly.
