Shinobi- Dude you rock, fricken great pic's, Thanks for posting them up so fast!
Great group this year- Thanks everyone for coming out and I hope to see you all next year. (Yes- That means you too Sandy & Gary!)
Well Mr Slo Mo and his wife left our house this morning on there way home to Canada, I cant say Thanks enough to them for coming all that way down just to run the Rubicon.
The Trip-
We left Loon Lake Friday morning around 8:30am and got into the Rubicon Springs around 7:15pm where we meet up with Greg (Agitated Pancake) and his hair!
Some where along the trail Shawn some how found the time to stop and change his Jeep into a right hand drive as seen in the pic above?
Saturday- Hung out at the Rubicon Springs for some R&R.
Sunday- Left the Springs around 9:30am and drove up Cadillac Hill (where by mistake we found the Cadillac). We took our time, stop had lunch and took some pic's at the overlook, we arrived at the staging area around 2:00pm. A little BS-ing, shook hands and said our good-byes till next year.
Thanks again to everyone for coming out, it was nice to meet you/ see you again.

Great pictures! Fun time overall with very minimal carnage, it was great meeting everyone and thanks again to Ron for setting up and leading this trip .
Fred R.
Ron: Thanks again for putting together another great trip, and leading everyone through.
Shinobi: Great job on the pics. I saw them this morning before my coffee, and spent a few seconds scratching my head trying to figure out when it was that Carrie was driving. That's a sweet pic through the mirror.
I'll try to get through my picks in the next few days and get the good ones up as well.
To the rest, it was great seeing you again, or meeting for the first time. It's always great to make new friends out on the trail and to have the opportunity to share stories and experiences. It was a great trip, and hope to see you guys out there again soon.
the blue and black wjs looking sweet. well, everybody there had killer rigs. really liked that blue wj's rear bumper though. whos is it?
Thanks again for an awesome time guys, can't wait for the next trip.
Here's the best of my pics:
Badass pics man. Thanks again everyone, can't wait to do it again next year!
I'm not sure I knew my WJ could stuff this hard, that's CRAZY! Tire is inside the cut out fender haha...
Hello all, we got home on Thursday night. Round trip was about 4073 miles.
It was great meeting all of you. We had such a great time, and can't wait to come back.
I have video but need to get some better software before I can get it together.
Howevere I do have some pics, so here goes......
This squirrel provided entertainment most of the day Saturday.
And Ron was trying to make a new friend .
The morning Driver's meeting.
And here we start up Cadillac Hill.
And last but not least, what was agreed upon as the September calendar page.
I really need to add too. Thanks Ron and Natalie for being such gracious hosts to my wife and I. He was a great tour guide not only on the trail but on the ride home we stopped several times to check out the sights between Tahoe and Sacremento.
We can't remember the last time we had gotten together with a great group of people to just wheel and hang out. We had so many good laughs around the firepit on Saturday too. And don't forget, nobody is allowed to go to bed until 10PM .
Thanks again everybody for making it such a wonderful trip for us.
Brett and Suzanne
