Ok so heres the story i got my jeep about a year ago i had posted an add online about trading my fully built acura integra which made 350 whp on low boost never actually turned it up to see what it would do but anyway a guy with a 96 zj sent me an email and i wasn't looking for one but i fell in love and had to have it so the next weekend he drove down and we traded. I have since ordered a 2" BB and got a set of 31" firestone destination A/Ts

I took a wheeling trip to Uwharrie and noticed my fenders where getting in the way so i trimmed them up and then did a bit of beating with a BFH to make the pinch weld flat
i went ahead and moved the charcoal canister and rolled the inner fenders in the rear so it will no longer cut into my tires when on the trails i cant wait to actually have some money and work on this thing again!!
I ordered the IRO belly skid yesterday and should have it friday ill have install pics this weekend.
You may wanna delete those last two pics on your first post.
Its all legal that is onbase and allowed I am very into tread lightly and pack out what you pack in!
its all being bulldosed to make way for expansion soon also.
edit: i want ahead and removed them to stay on the safe side

This is mallcrawlin. You're not supposed to post pictures of your rig actually wheeling. Looks good though!!!
yaya next time ill take a pic in front of the local mall
and thanks man i really cant wait to actually work on it
ok so i got a few things done today and still have alot to do tomorrow i hope to have some serious progress in the coming months
ill take finished pics tomorrow my camera was being a PITA so i gave up lol
Ok so i managed to get a good bit done today. I mounted up the IRO belly skid and aside from drilling it bolted right up although having the IRO front LA cross member would sure make this easier it does work just fine with the stock cross member just have to do a bit of drilling and fitting! I also fixed the bushing in my front sway bar it was squeeking and pissing me off. over all I feel decently accomplished for the day!
and here are some finished pics of the fender trimming.
and i gave her a wash and took a few nice pics of it at its current stage
Looks good man. Thats a nice belly skid, seems like it hangs sort of low tho?
ya it does but until i get my IRO LAs ( i think that lifts it a bit ) ill have to deal with it id rather lose an 1" or 2" of clearance than a tcase lol
It looks like you can adjust it up another set of holes? Your t-case also looks low kinda like mine did when I found out my transmission mount was toast and letting it all hang down low. Heres a pic of my old tranny mount it was letting my tranny sag about an inch and my t-case bout an inch and a half. Disregard the other two bushings in the photo.

i cant use those upper holes on the drivers side till i get the IRO cross member i think that will allow me to lift it up a but if not ill make my own brackets to lift it up some more and i do think one of my motor mounts could use replacing but i dont feel a thud or notice it so im leaving it alone for a rainy day when im bored and have the extra cash laying around
ok so the rear armor shipped today and i did some hard wheeling this weekend and tested out that new skid it took a beating and held up great I cant say enough good things about IRO!!
now for some pics
rocker met a big rock lol
Nice man.
Looks like you need to jump on the boat-side bandwagon, hahaha. Definitly cutem' out and build some sliders. Now you have an excuse to hack your jeep.
should have got the crawler ready motor mounts, but nice build so far man
I want to build some sliders that's for sure but living in the barracks prevents me from buying a welder and necessary tools. Does crawler ready have 4.0 mounts I would be interested.
well i had a great day today got alot of very needed items for my build. I also picked up a set ot tail lights to replace the one i broke and a few smaller pieces i needed for the interior. MY big ticket items are my new 8.8 and hp30
Nice choice!
thanks i cant wait to get the gears and all so i can weld everything up and get them in my jeep
nice score
