FINALLY got my D60 from Clayton Offroad... damn he does KILLER work...
Some specs... RC HP-D60, Claytons high clearance brackets Dedenbears inners and outers. 3 1/8" tube 1/2" thick. JJ on the both sides for upper control arm mounts. Getting Full Detroit and 5.13 gears.
Yes thats a 2" trac bar mount for a Johnny Joint (included)
Ohhhh pretty
I am swapping out that support gusset for an Iron Cross from BTF, thats why its tacked there.
Here are Claytons Coil buckets for the 14bolt...
Sure has been a long time in the making....

Scotty Nguyen moment: "Now that's beef, baby!"
And this is for a ZJ?
very nice.
Looks awesome Jerod.
no he's going full width on that Honda ATV, DUH!Originally Posted by nate
good to see some real axles for a change.. I like the welds and the axle hauler too
Well it could be for something else you know.
I'm at the point now where I think I'm going to run my axles and build an actual buggy instead of wasting my time and money on a unibodied rig. The ZJ does great... but I'd rather keep it as a semi-hardcore wheeler and not hack it all up.

WOW! Thats some serious BEEF.
have you ever heard me say I hate you.
Looks like the plug welds are missing.

And the tubes are fully welded all the way around using a jig that rotates so there are no starts or stops in the weld.

All on 33"s mind you...
And now wanting to run some real meats I need to build axles that I can forget about and enjoy wheeling and less wrenching. I guess what Im saying is that its easier for me to spend the $$ rather than keep fixing weak links.
On another note... WHEN I roll my ZJ and its left to a pile of crap, I hope my axles will still have life and they will live on in somthing else... maybe a buggy or TJ whatever it maybe. Time will tell.
Jerod
on a side note... your fourtrax is currently shating itself with that behemoth of an axle resting on the rear cargo rack...
... on that note, I am definately jealous of it!!!
Yeah that is true AW.
I am just pissed at myself in a way for building a ZJ and not something cheaper and with a frame. I think I wouldn't be so far in debt at this point. I'm actually thinking of selling it to pay off some stuff, but I'd need to get at least 12-15k to not be getting rammed in the ass on the deal.
Oh, plus I hate you for spending like $6k on an axle haha.
You still run swaybars??

I have giving Clayton my idea on a steering stablizer and hes making it work with his "anti-rock" for the ZJs. Time will tell for that product.
As for my ZJ, yes FOR SURE keeping swaybars.
You've still got time to sell them Dirk.
Personally....i'd sell em while they are hot....Originally Posted by Cue-Ball

edit: oh yea, NICE axle!
Sorry to hijack this Jerod.
I am really torn on the axles to be honest. Problem is if I sell them I will just dump that money into getting my stroker all squared away and then I will have no axles, and no money, atleast right now I have axles.
