Search. This has been discussed numerous times.

Like any engine, it depends on routine maintenance and how the engine has been treated over its lifespan. Some may last 2 miles, some 400,000 or more. There are a few things that need attention at higher miles just like any engine. Don't ask what they are, just read - they have all been talked about and fixed.

Are you having some kind of mechanical problem, or is this in the Repair Shop for no reason?

Fawking newbs and their punctuation issues. Have we as a society seriously perpetuated a generation full of punctuation and grammatical ignorance?

How do people make it through high school typing and speaking like this? We would've been bitch-slapped back to middle school had we typed that way.

CurtP: What does your house have to do with any of this?

The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much, it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.

Wow, only 155k? I've got 199k on mine, and I've been trying to grenade it without any success. I've definitely seen a bunch on the different forums over 225-250k on them.

My 5.2 is at about 100,000 without any issues, and that's in a buggy bouncing off of the rev limiter for the last 4-5 years of its life.

My 5.9 has about 195,000 on it, no issues other than water pump failing.

My big '93Jeep has just over 200K on it and the last 2500 or so have been bouncing off the rev limiter almost every time it's been run with no signs of quitting any time soon....
The wife's '94 has 201K and still 60 LBS oil pressure warm at an idle. That one should see well over 300K (as long as I don't get to beat on it lol).

Just change the oil religeously and don't let it overheat too bad and you'll get double of where you're already at with it.
