still screwed up. not sure what now. still no engine codes.
going to dig into the manual a bit.
What is it doing exactly? Have you disconnected the battery for 10 minutes to reset the computer? Have you done a tuneup yet and checked the coil?
the oil is fine. still really clean. i'm using mobil 1 10w-30. i put new plugs in it about a month ago.
it is stalling out as soon as i touch the gas. its also idling really rough.
the manual says to start with the ignition system. i guess i'll pull the plugs and check those. then move on to the injectors and see if they are all working right.
i checked inside the intake and its clean. no oil. so i think my intake gaskets are still in good shape.

Check your fuel pressure at the rail. Get an idling PSI and a throttled PSI and compare the two. These are pretty much the same symptoms that I had when my fuel pump took a shit.

i have not figured it out yet.
my mechanic friend has a scanner for the vehicle. he's going to bring it over tonight and see if we can get anything out of the vehicle.
if not, then i'll have to siphon the gas out of the tank and put it in my other car. i'm sure that is going to be a blast since the jeep has a full tank of gas.
Have you done a tuneup yet? There's more to the ignition system than spark plugs... Start there since the parts are cheap and easy to replace and it probably needs it anyway. Like what others have said multiple times, check the fuel pressure at the rail.
friend is bringing over a pressure tester later tonight.
