Alright guys, glad everyone's made it home safely.

Just wanted to ask for feedback and see what suggestions you guys have for next year.

Pearce made the suggestion of having a message board at camp to post up daily schedule notes and on-the-fly changes of plan throughout the day because inevitably things change as the day progresses.. I think its a great idea.

    so what else you got..?

I thought the supplements were a big help in determining whether or not to run the trail with the group we were in. It just needs to be updated with every trip to keep it accurate due to the trails changing so frequently.

The maps helped us also. There is a lot of ground to cover up there and finding the best way to get back to camp was nice instead of relying on memory.
Thank you to those that serve our country.

Ha so true. White tail changed every time we ran it, just from the rigs in our group moving rocks around. Trey changed the trail the most by moving that massive claw looking rock when we hit it friday

I had a great time and would not complain if nothing changed. Here are a couple minor things.

    1) If you have a tshirt design contest i nthe future, just have the planners pick the top 5 shirt deisgns and start the voting there. That should simlify the t-shirt process more.

    2) If we do a big group to watch the big boys on Lion's Den again, I would suggest to just have everyone meet at the Upper Rock Garden rather than back at camp. Doesn't seem to make much sense to drive all the way back down the mountain when most of us will already be there.

I didn't really look at the maps until after the weekend was over, but they seemed pretty detailed. The supplement was a good thing to know what to expect on the trails.

I think the message board is a great idea, it should really help everyone know where people are and how they might be able to catch up with.

The maps and supplement were a big help to me. It was nice having Dan read the map and the supplement so we kinda knew what we were in for on a trail.

I think it would be nice to have a few more "lets all meet up on xx trail and you can do it or watch the bigger rigs do it" I had a blast watching Upper Rock Garden and Lions Den.

    I had a blast!

A bunch of us rode up to white tail on Sat. night and ran it... I don't remember if any of you guys from the cabins were still hanging around when we left, but the show from the top was definitely worth watching...

I think most of us where still slippin' and slidin' our way up Mason Jar. We had run White Tail earlier that morning.

What part of white tail gave you problems? Did you run the left side up the first ravine? I loved that trail. I loved how the first line up the last section I first planned out was so not the line I ended up taking after Pearce made his way up. Hell, even I changed my own line from how the rocks were kicking out under my front tires. That's a great trail because it's not going to be the same everytime you run it.

The whole thing was pretty slimy when we hit it in the dark. It was a completely different trail than when we ran it in no time on friday morning. At the bottom you just have to do what joe did in that video, stay high right and hit it pinned. There weren't any problems, except for one guy broke a hub I think... just a lot of tire spinning going on. The left side exit back onto the gravel reminded us of upper rattlerock.

White tail is quickly becoming one of my new harlan favorites too...

Did you guys find that bees nest?

As for suggestions I say you all hit it pretty much on the head this year. I didn't feel as if a group of people were left out like last year. I'm normally full of suggestions but really i'm happy with how everything worked out. That and its nice to keep mandy in a cabin so I don't have to hear her bitch about the rain

I think it's Appalachian State U in NC.

I'm curious about what it turns out to be.

I think we should also organize a GSSE trip to a certain clubhouse. Them there locals are pretty damn talkative.

I hear that Joe wants a field trip to under the bridge one of the nights, too.
