we caught it in time so the yoke ears did not deform, they just got a little banged up. the new joint went in fine, so hopefully they are OK. I need to sand them down a little bit to eliminate any stress risers but I am going to keep running them at least for the short term.

    I love this video.
    http://s827.photobucket.com/albums/z...00_2263.mp4%26

The one before it with Pearce running out of the way was pretty funny, too.

I hope they run Mason Jar as part of the ECORS race in a couple weeks. With all the lines you can take, it should make for some great racing assuming no one falls off of the ridge...

Unfortunately I don't think they're going to use lions den or mason jar... but I predict they run up the new trail called intimidator and down creampuff as an optional shortcut past railbed. I could be 100% wrong though so it'll be interesting to see what they do with the course...

yeah i read yesterday that they will be staying away from mason jar and lions den because they aren't really close to anything but there were comments indicating that going DOWN creampuff would be part of the course.. that will be a wild ride.. i bet it takes almost as much throttle to go down it without dying as it does to get up it!

Wow. White Tail was COMPLETELY different on Friday than it was on Saturday. There was no way we were crawling up that trail on Saturday...

I worked on the video for about 5 hours today. I'd say it's about 80% done. I just need to add some finishing touches. There definitely wasn't as much good material to choose from on the camcorder this time around(not that there wasn't plenty of mail delivered...just gotta find a decent camera bitch).

I had a blast this year...just as I have at every GSSE. It was nice meeting some new people, though I don't think I really got to wheel with anybody new. I must say that the campfire talk certainly went above and beyond this year. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard in my life. Quote of the weekend..."I'd rather gargle semen, than take a shot of Jager."

Yea I'm still laughing about that quote. The drunk campfire talks are always great.

Ha, I've still got a 90% edited video of Harlan from LAST year that I never finished so you're doing good in comparison. I've also got video from about three other trips I'll get to one of these days.
Thank you to those that serve our country.
