mine is a 99, got the jeep running today, installed steering box everything works excellent-im running tractor hydraulic fluid instead of p.s. fluid alot less bubbly....better imo. It sort of just floats on the road.......LIKE A FUCKING CADILLAC BITCHES!!!!!!

Actualyl ive pulled it about seven times in the last two years. the only thing that got me threw the last few was timing myself.

Yikes. What are you doing to it? The aw4 is one of the most reliable transmissions chrysler ever used. Probably b/c it wasnt built by chrysler.

welp had a pretty good day at beach.Claytons handled nicely, saw some tits, Kayaked in 4ft breaking waves "badass". The only bad was i drove around for a few hours with not one problem,stopped and kayaked then when i got back in and started to drive i noticed a clunk consistent with driveshaft rotations???? I get out thinking my dumb ass forgot to tighten u-joint straps or something, NO! I grab driveshaft it has and inch and a half play in the pinion. WTF!!! how did that just happen sitting there! I havent looked into it much but it's def play in the pinion. I need to tear it apart......crap

Well since everyone else has been posting trailer maintence threads thought i would join in. This is my tow pig 07 TITAN LE with the tow package, I love it, tows like a champ.

Just wait till u have to put a rear end in it cause thats like one of there weak spots.I would put a really good gear oil it and dont hammer it when towing.

Heres my trailer, 16ft pipe top lowboy,83" wide( Jeeps 82" lol) 3,500lb axles built by Ironhorse. I picked it up for 1200$. It had no rust, no rot, and good tires, and buddy bearings all around. It needed a spare, so i picked one up for 50 bucks and made a mount. The mount is made from some channel and a old zj unit bearing. Hammered out studs and rewelded them to 5 5.5 to fit the spare wheel. Bought some reflective stickers from the big rig store and a lil touch up paint and here she is.

The other day my buddy gave me a warn r/t 3000 winch for free. Never been used, it had the reciever hitch mount already on it and a hook up for a utv. So i called warn and told them what was up and they sent me everything I needed pro bono: Solenoid, three sets of batter cables and all the remotes and hookups. Can't bitch about that. My neighbor gave me some 2 1/2 square tubing and I already had the channel so I made up a mount for it also. Works really well, Pulls my jeep up without tilting the trailer using a snatch block. All in all I have 3 bucks in for the paint.
