Different look than most winch bumpers. The designers wanted a bolt-on solution that didn't require any cutting but also keep the bumper as tight as possible, so they had to work around the front crossmember (the reason for the bulges on the lower front) and the windshield washer reservoir (which is why it's a little on the tall side).

I think it needs a little cleanup (smooth out the bulges, mate better with the front fenders, include at most one laser cut cactus which is their trademark), but it does have a certain brutish uniqueness about it:

That's an amazing bumper. Not sure about the bling in the grill, but I really like the look of the bumper.

Looks similar to my front old style Trail Ready bumper. I like it!
The "D-rings" would get less hung up on Moab ledges if they were in line with the winch mount, like on mine.

Very sharp - I'd like to see the D-ring mounts on the front fascia as John mentioned though.

Something about integrated/countersunk driving lights just appeals to me visually as well. I don't feel the bulges are too distracting.

Looks like they forgot the fairlead though

Me like the looks of the bumper. Agree on the mounting points for the D-Rings. I really like the white on white look of the WK. I wonder about cooling issues with the tall winch but it does look like they included slots at the bottom though.

Hell I think it looks damn good, while the bulges are a bit odd ... they give it character.

Supposed to use a hawse fairlead, but you're right Jim, they probably should have had one on the pic - but they would have had to paint it white.

WKs aren't known to have cooling issues so I doubt if the tall winch is going to detract much from air flow.

    I noticed that as well...

I like it and I think the bulges aren't too bad.

Wow. I like it but I would more inclined to cut some sheetmetal to avoid having the bulges there. Then again I like cutting sheetmetal.

It is a very impressive bumber but after going thru the problems with the ARB bumber on a wk I am very disappointed in Jeep.

Lets face it that they put a very impressive 4wd system on a soccor mom car and forgot that it was a jeep. The front of the wk was never ment to add anything to make it more capable. Such a shame they went that way as it is has an awesome 4wd system.

    Just my $.02

Here's one installed on a non-display model Jeep. Although it's on a show rig/street queen, it still looks like a decent design.

Are any bumpers like this in any form available for the 2008 WK, or only till 2007? Looking at the bottom of the headlamps I see a difference between 2008 and 2007, but are there any other differences?

Like left the fairlead off for pic to see where it mounted. It would be good to see a pic with both a roller and synthetic styles.

I would have pushed the outside edge by the front fender out for rub protection, but many might not like it.

Not sure on the price, but likely they should be able to sell some if they can get it in front of that market base.
