Nice, all of these pics and videos are awesome
Nice pics and vids everyone, looks like a great time!
Cam, the 6.0 sounds awesome!
Yeah I think it was just a communication failure on both sides, coupled with similar bad experiences in the past. I was on RR but farther up and never heard any of what was said back and forth, just caught it all second hand. I think it's lame to bitch at each other on the internet so I'm staying out of it.
im staying out of it too, it was a shitty situation all together and we were frustrated because of the problems earlier.. i was having enough problems myself getting up RR in one piece.. all i know is if i come up on those guys broken, i'll not be offering to help, i'll be asking them to get out of our way!

here are a few pictures, most while driving to the obstacles.
well, if you wade through all the butthurt in the etiquette thread, you do find this:
I think i know who he's talking aboutYour 2nd to last guy which I believe is you, in a well built jeep absoulty hammered on his rig trying to get to the hard way out of the trail to the point that your buggy was flinging socccer ball size rocks at your buddy behide you and had to yell at you to stop so he could get out of harms way.
Here is the video of Greg's flop and 14 bolt carnage...

I have plenty more to upload, but Youtube's upload times suck a donkey dick. Chris and I will work on getting something going on the big video as soon as possible.
He looked like he almost saved it, but that big rock got in the way. I had the sound turned off...was someone holding his winch cable, or was it connected to a tree and snapped when he flopped?
I looked at that line on Friday and didn't even attempt it. It had breakage written all over it for my tiny rig (isn't it crazy that a rig on 36s is a "small" rig anymore?).
The look on Trey's face Sunday morning at breakfast was priceless when I said that we were going to run RattleRock. I knew it'd be tough, but since there were a bunch of bailouts and we were in a small group (and the park was basically desserted at the time), I figured what the hell. I struggled with the "easy" lines, but my tires would never climb the rocks I needed to, so perhaps it would have been easier if it was dry. Although I think my fronts were aired up a bit too high, because I didn't see much deformation in the videos.
im sure it was similar to your avatar... we had a tough time up there saturday afternoon and when you said you were going up there all i could think about was how hard me cam and kirby had to work to get through upper RR.
glad you ran the lower part though, its tough too just not steep the way upper is. some more tread on your meats would help you out alot im sure.
Trey - you looked like a deer in headlights with a slight hint of "WTF is wrong with you?" -That's when I knew we were doing something right
hahahahahaha, i was tired as shit that morning and when you said rattlerock at first i didn't think it was a good idea but then i though, these guys are only doing what i'd do in their shoes, just give them a heads up for what they are getting into and let it ride..
jared ya got marbles son and more power to ya
ive only got a few pics from sunday, will be workin on a vid once i get a recplacement laptop...
Here's just a few of what I got...
Great pics, just out of curiosity how was this place compared to Harlen? Also did this place have as many ledge type trails were your looking off the mountain?
We didn't get to see nearly as many trails as we did in Harlan, but from what we did see it is alot of stuff just as challenging. I never saw any trails like Lions Den, but it was the same style as Harlan. Alot of driving on access roads to get to a trail. I definetly want to go back.
You would definetly like the sleeping arrangments better than you did at Harlan.
Are you talking about when we were on the trail that felt like our Jeeps were WAY to wide to be on, with the drop off on both sides?
If so, then no I never saw anything like that.
