Haven't worked on it much lately with being sick, truck issues, and the Moab trip. The new roof is sitting on the Jeep with all of the big cuts being done, just need to match everything up as close as possible now and start welding it all up.

Cool, I'm looking forward to seeing it with the roof back on.

Made some good progress today, but a LOT of work still ahead. The roof is tacked on as you can see in the pic, but still a lot of welding, grinding, and other assorted finishing work. The first time we tacked it together the hatch worked when you pushed it to the pass side about 1/4", we made a few adjustments and its dead on now.

Now to just make it not look like complete shit . . .

Looking good and just in time to keep it dry, since it's snowing tonight.

Looks good man, and it sure beats messing around with a soft top doesn't it?

Spent some time working on the tack welds today. Going to have to touch up a few pin holes after I grind it down, but I was pretty happy with how easy it was. I tacked it every couple inches, and then built off of those tacks to fill it all in.

That looks pretty good, pretty time consuming also. Thought of paint yet?

It really wasn't all that time consuming. I did that in maybe half an hour or so. Not exactly sure on paint yet, but will probably keep the front portion blue, and go with a semi gloss black on the back end.
