Anyone running an Addco with JKS disco's?

The Addco's have the holes for the end links 908 from the stock location and I remember seeing something about an adapter kit or something for the JKS's if you are running an Addco, but can't find anything on their site.

So thought I would ask here first and then start calling around if I can't find anything.

    Let me know.

    Thanks.

Been awhile, but I think I just ordered two more JKS pins and pins, so it's the eyehole style at both ends. I don't know if I can dig up the pics any more.

I'm running an addco bar with JKS disco's. I did some shaving of the bar. In a bit I'll go take some photos and show ya what I did.

Right-O 'ol chap. What you see is actually a funny story of me NOT paying attention to detail. I bought the ZJ Addco front bar from Addco of course and the ZJ JKS Disco's from Kevin's. The JKS Disco's stated that these will NOT work with after market sway bars. When the Addco bar arrived I was dismayed to see that the ends are ROUNDED. This is why the Disco's would not bolt right up.

Not a problem! I whipped out the grinding wheel and went to town making sparks fly. I was also carefull NOT to grind continuoisly for fear of extrem heat causing warpage. Within a few minutes off and on I had the ends carefully squared off enough for the Disco's to mount up without trouble.

Now I just need to get off my lazy ass and paint them black again to stop rust from forming.

Also thanks for giving me an excuse to whip out my camera and my flashes. I have 3 Canon 580EX II flashes but only used one for these photos.

    ENJOY!

...or you could have just bolted the sway bar on top of that bracket.

On the Addco I have the hole is 90* out from what yours is. It sticks out to the side not up and down??

True but I didn't have larger bolts, nuts, & washers to make that happen. The hole on the swaybar is a lot larger than the bracket hole, thus I would have had to drill the top end of the bracket to match. If not, I will have a LOT of play from the swaybar.

There's room for improvement but for the time being this holds up well.

You have the WJ Addco Bar. You're doing what Kevin mentions on his site. You'll just need to score TJ/ZJ JKS Disco's and also score an extra disco pin. I was gonna go in that direction until I pulled out the grinding wheel.

Crap I want a cheap solution. I don't want to get new discos that's for sure.

Hmmm...you'll just need another set of bolts with pins. I'd give either Kevin or JKS a call and see if they have a solution.

    Bingo.

The ZJ Military Addco's were like that, as well. Just got 2 more bolts / pins and problem solved.

When I installed mine I had to use the WJ quicker disconnects. Depending on your lift you will need part number 3100 or 3104.
'96 ZJ slightly modded with more in the works (5.3L HP44 and SF 14b)
'03 WJ Limited 4.7HO - just starting the journey

should try SwayLoc, It's stiffer than Addco on treet mode, take 1 second to disconnect or connect on not level ground. Plus the swayloc will not slide like Addco and causes rubbing issue. I ditch my addco already!
