Chassis is home. 36 hour roundtrip from San Diego to Klamath Falls. 26 hours of driving...
Allot of work to do still..
That thing is too gorgeous for ZJ skins.
sweet! Zj that bitch up!
i absolutely agree with atlzj. that is an amazing piece of work. dont hide it behind a zj exterior. be proud of what you have haha
Bad ass.
not enough triangulation, lol

Thanks for the compliments. I am stoked to get this build going. I need to have something from my ZJ on there. Plus it would be cool to make out to GSW one of these days!

Man i like this. Looking forward to seeing it finished.
A 6.0l is nice but not neccessary.
if you dont mind me asking how much did you give for the bute
Probably not necessary as I have a prefectly good 4.3 that it came with. However i think it would be cool and something about 400 hp in something like this is going to be bitchin...
I forgot to mention I will be running 16" saw on all four corners, with 16" triple bypasses in the rear.
Tommy
I just JIMP'ed.
Picking up the 6.0 Vortec/4l80e next weekend. If I get my ZJ out of the garage I will be on my way to getting this build started.
Very nice. How many miles on it? Have you decided where you're sending the computer for flash/tuning yet?
I have access to a flash tuner. may do it myself. We will see. 58,000 miles. Not bad.
oh boy
I demand an update!
Been busy paying the bills. Work has kept me busy and out of the garage. Plus it was 115 degree's this weekend. Laughlin casino's and a bunch of Coors Light sounded better than working on my rig. I needed to get some proper lights in my garage, so I can work at night. That is done. Now it rivals the sun. j/k.
Starting to tear down the chassis a bit this week. A bunch of bars will be coming out up front to fit the 6.0, and the rear will most likely be cut off completely. My drivetrain is long and I need to stretch my wheel base to fit. Shooting for around 110", low and long.
Tommy
you might want to rethingk the low and long.
i was 21" belly with 109" WB and even with the rear steer the thing was not much more nimble then the previouse Kraq-Rock buggy.
i woudl not go more then 106" with a buggy.
my rear drive shaft is only 20" long. 1410 gold seal offset u-joints give it enough angle for my 14" CO's. thats including the pumkin being offset to the side by 7"
