So apparently my receiver shackle fell out (or was taken out, I really hope that's not the case with this group) at some point on PSM Saturday. Looking at the pics it was in at the waterfall on the way in, and not there shortly after high speed mesa on the way out.

Anybody happen to find one on the trail somewhere?

I would guess buried in the sand on the high speed mesa.

The sand on the mesa really wasn't all that deep. It was fairly packed this year.

If it fell out on the hsm, it could have been thrown out of sight of whoever followed you. Or if you look at the pics of mine after the hsm you can see it

    Sorry you lost it.

I agree, if it fell out anywhere on those flat mesas like right after the waterfall, it might have fallen into one of the crevasses between the rocks, and we probably wouldn't have seen it driving behind you.

I won't need mine in a couple of weeks when Sandy & I get my new KOR rear bumper installed - I'll pm you on it.

FWIW, I lost mine year before last on a Big Bear run; I put it on but forgot to put the pin in. Thought it was stolen until later when I found the pin in my toolbox.

Nor I, when I brought up the next group. At least it wasn't in anyone's tire... I wonder if it fell out in the sand just after the drop ledges after PSM. Did you play in the sand hole?

We skipped the sand hill Jim, but we did past the sand pit that's just north of the trail just to the east of the high speed mesa.

It would cost more to ship a shackle and draw block than it would be to go buy one. They are 25 bucks here at our local 4 wheel parts.
