so it took a little longer than i wanted, but here's the pictures from my first time on the trail with the zj. it was just me and my friends rubicon, and we didnt run into anyone all day, which was very surprising. all in all it was a great day. i was very impressed with how well my jeep performed, especailly for being open/open and mostly stock. no major breakage, but my p/s pump and my brake booster did give up the ghost, fortunately not until almost the end of the day. on with the pictures.
airing down, etc
one of the few ledges i didnt make, i just couldnt quite bump it enough.
seths parking spot for our lunch break.
seth heading into the 'v rock'
and coming back up
me going down
it got a little sketchy at the bottom, as you can see, but i was able to steer out of it with no body damage.
some flex shots.

Nice. That was the very first trail I went on coming up on 9 years ago. Back when Clayton had a ZJ on 34s! Thanks for the pics and bringing me back there!
Looks like a good time!!!
Time for sliders maybe?
Nice! MaBell is one of my clubs regular wheeling spots. Hope to see ya out there someday.
Sweet, ive run that trail a few times, its one of my favorites. Watched a couple buggies roll on gate keeper a couple years ago. I hope you guys are staying out of the waterhole...
Sorry I just went through these again and this popped out at me. With all of that rust your worried about body damage? It would be good for you to cut out the rockers and weld in new sliders. Put in some tube doors and you are set.
Again thanks for the pics. I have carried a pic of my Jeep on that trail in my wallet since I got them developed. Yes when digitals were not so prevalent.
haha, no im not worried about body damage, but i do like being able to open my doors
and i may do sliders, but the whole body is pretty rusty, so ill probably just beat on this one for a while, then pick up something else, maybe a cherokee, maybe a zj i dont know yet, that has a decent base to start with, and just swap stuff over.
shit, why worry about swaping stuff over. just start cutting it off
