Awesome WJ you got there. Can't wait to see it in Moab.
Holly mother of all WJs that thing is wicked ...
Can't wait to see this thing in Action at GSW .. don't be surprised if I drool all over your jeep
Holly mother of all WJs that thing is wicked ...
X2
I think I can match your Diet Pepsi consumption....but that WJ is badass!
(I go through anywhere from a 12 pack to a case a day, I'd drink more but I just don't have the time!)( also I have become partial to Diet Pepsi Lime...hmmm)
I have always loved that Dub. Looks better than ever!
This photo gets dated within in so many ways.
Kevin's old place (the first Kevin's Offroad HQ)
First gen round WJ sliderz (Wazny got the first square, and I own the square set that is pictured on Kevin's site)
A small red WJ
Shiney wheels
New tires (has David boughten a new set of tires ever?)
And a younger David...

What I learned from this build:
That steering ram is TIGHT in between the three bars that suround it
David likes Diet Pepsi and collects things
A rear WJ sway bar probably doesn't do much
David needs to run water in the front tires (I have the tool to fill them waiting)
Clayton's long arms make good trusses
1" B7 rod bends
Can't wait till GSW.
The crap in the air on my drive to work is more carcinogenic than my diet pepsi.
What the research shows:
Large epidemiological studies haven't found a link between aspartame and cancer. A study of about 500,000 people, sponsored by the National Cancer Institute, compared those who drank beverages containing aspartame with those who didn't. It found that people who drank increasing amounts of beverages containing aspartame did not have a greater risk for lymphomas, leukemias, or brain cancer. The researchers found no link between aspartame consumption and those cancers.
It's a back and forth debate. For every publication that says aspartame is fine, there are 2 describing its carcinogenic effects in mice. While some of this is inflated by the media, it is hard to refute scientific findings. Not only that, but caffeine is also a carcinogen (in the sense that it is a promoter) it fuels the effects of primary and secondary carcinogens. To be safe, we should all probably limit our diets strictly to beer and Jack.
Sorry to clog up your thread with this junk. Your rig is looking great, it's sure come a long way since I last saw it in '06.
Dave,
I think that you may have gone from the most capable WJ, to one of the most capable GCs around. It looks awesome. I can't wait to see it in action in Moab.
V
nice build.. in particular the 9" axles, hydro assist, and 37's!
how much lift are you at to clear those 37's?
G-
Thanks and back at you
6" springs with 2 inch spacers.
David.
Wow that thing went from mild to wild in less than one page.
Wanted to make sure I read correctly. You were at 6" total lift with the 33"s
Sorry and then you only trimmed to add the 35's. Could you post another pic of it on 35's? Thanks
Need some photos of the front arm axle mounts and stuff.
