are they blue or what?
LED's
i love when mines actually running good and i can just add stickers and stupid shit lol
Test fit the coils, the bolts turned out to be the perfect size for the application. Mounts will be burned on this weekend, and the axle will one step closer!
Looks like it's starting to come along! So.....get it done!
Got the axle home and started painting it, tomorrow I'll work on pulling the old axle bearings and order some new bolts for the flange adapter.
Most likely I'll order a pack of these bolts (M12x1.75 25mm long):

it may be the picture but that pinion angle looks steep
welds look like chit.
Small update, changed out the fuel filter following maxx's writeup, and removed the rear swaybar. If anyone has a zj with the external fuel filter (and haven't replaced it yet), do it. It's easy, costs $12, and takes 10 min. When I took my old one out, the fluid that came out of it was brown/red, so it was in need of being replaced. I cut it open and it was bad on the inside too.
Oh, and I haven't noticed ANY difference on the street without the rear swaybar. I tried throwing the heep around a few corners in the neighborhood and didn't notice anything, so it looks like it'll be staying out.
Wheeling tomorrow!
Cut up my 8.8 carrier to make the ABS work, axle is pretty much done besides assembly and brakes. I drove back to campus from home, heard a clunking every time I got to 70mph. I'm pretty sure it's the exhaust though. I got to campus and the exhaust pipe is resting on the crossmember. Turns out it's cracked at the y-pipe, will check it out more tomorrow.
Hmmmmmmm
Lovely, mine was doing that when I pulled the motor out haha
Yup, gotta love the V8's....
I was gonna use this as an opportunity to redo the exhaust, but I'm leaning more towards taking it to the exhaust guy and having him sleeve it or something and close it back up. It'll be a hell of a lot cheaper, saving me some $$ that I'll need on upcoming repairs.
HAHAHA! that looks awful dude. Is it any louder? (if thats possible with you're set up)
It's not louder, just a different kinda sound. It's mainly just annoying on the highway. As soon as I get to 70 or so, the tailpipe starts bouncing off the crossmember.
hey man good work. im liking the build
Could be bad motor mounts causing it.
