I already hate both. Better be backing that name up with a sick build.

What are the plans? Just suspension? Axles?

Oh i will...Im in the mists of making long arms, front and rear (basicly copying the clatons kit with a few alterations) and im swapping a D44 HP front and D44 rear, aiming for a total of 9-10 ''s overall lift. Bumpers, sliders..and it will get wheeled hard!

wowza. you really don't need that much lift unless you're running big-ass tires. what size are you planning on?

Welcome to MC, good luck with the build.

My .02 9" of lift is way to fucking much, not sure what tires you're planning on running but keep it low and trim your fenders. Then we won't see you on here with pictures of your new hotness on its roof

EDIT: dp96zj beat me to it.

FYI, trimming the heep would be smarter than lifting it more.

    40's on ~7":

For the types of trails in your area: Swamper TSLs, LTBs, or SXs are probably a better choice than Iroks.

Id rather run 37's then 40s and not trim at all. i dont think theres a huge difference in the chance of me rollin my rig at 7''s with 40s or 9-10''s with 40's...for the forest and the open trails i do

RCV is the only shaft that is supposed to even come close to holding up to 40"s reliably on a D44, but not many people have real world experience with them in the dana 44 variety yet. Your rear 44 would probably destroy itself though. If I was you I'd do 9" rear and HP 44 from an early bronco or late 70's f250 I think? You can get both axles from one truck. Rock 37"s on 6-7" lift and CUT YOUR FENDERS.

How can you even say your gunna be wheeling it hard if the tires literally can not fit in the fenders?

*EDIT* you beat me with your last post. So your wheeling forest and open trails, what makes 40"s necessary for your wheelin?

No, I know they wont hold up on 40"s.

Besides that point, a 40" tire on a ZJ requires a ton of trimming to make them work, biggest tire you can fit without trimming fenders is a 33, a 35 even requires trimming. You will have a worthless pile of a jeep woth 10 lift, no trimming, and 44's with 40"s.

I would suggest, 6" lift, 37"s, and alot of trimming.

Here is someone who did it right, one-ton axles, trimmed to the maxx, and then put on 40's.

Side note for Mallcrawlin101; comment above is coming from someone who was breaking chromolly D44 shafts on 37"s.

Really? You're questioning that? I guess if it's just a pavement pounder you'll be fine, but if you any sort of moderate wheeling, I'm sure you'll be breaking shafts.
