So who's going to pony up and be the first ZJ/WJ to win the Rainforest Challenge?
What is a rainforest challenge?
is your search broken?
apparently internet connections to malaysia go .003 mph.
Extraordinary off-road 4x4 adventurers in an extraordinary event held in an extraordinary season – the monsoon; the Rainforest Challenge (RFC) has been running for the past 9 years in Malaysia. It is one of the toughest 4x4 events and one of it’s kind in the world. From it’s debut in November 1997, the event has also progressed to become the “world’s most internationally represented 4x4 event” with annual participation from over 25 countries.
What's the problem? Even if he falls off, he still has the winch to pull him in
But seriously, fuck that. I don't even like the log bridge at Rausch Creek -- which is made of three logs on each side to essentially make it difficult to fall off.
That would be the experience of a lifetime though! I'd shit my pants, but that's sick!
I'd love to do it, but there's no way I could get the $$$ to build the rig and get down there without a BIG BIG sponsorship
That would be an amazing competition to be a part of. I can only imagine the variety of terrain you'd encounter.
It'd be a challenging event and would carry a lot of pride and bragging rights with the winner.
cool to see, but i would shit my pants as well
I shit my pants just looking at the picture.
I can't believe you guys have never heard of the Rainforest Challenge.
wow thats pretty nuts, rig would be beat at the end of it
lots of mud. mud = sucks.
other than that I bet it would be awesome.
I am now officially accepting sponsorships to send my rig to the 2010 RFC.
The rig as it sits today.
