Went to Boulder Creek last weekend, just been too busy to post pictures till now. The park is about 10 miles east of Marble Falls, TX. It's made up of rocks and loose dirt, the week before we went it was raining pretty much every day so the trails very slick and muddy.
Went there 2 days, the 13th the only carnage was the Ranger's broken 44 shaft. Swapped in a spare and it was good to go. The 14th wasn't as forgiving, had tried a trail called Wildcat earlier in the day and couldn't make it quite over the hill so the Ranger had to pull me up. We went back later that night and I tried again, tried for about 10 minutes and keep getting further and further until the D30 ring gear finally gave away so we were done for the week. Then the next day after we pulled the ring and got the Heep running, the 9" posi unit broke while making a turn on the street.
Anyways, onto the pics...

Here's the hill I was struggling with, I need a locker up front...
We didn't really try this, but apparently no one has been able to make the line on the right...
It dead..
oh boy
yea and a locker/spool as you saw me go up (kinda sorta helps) I struggled with that hill Jon blew up on the day before while it was still raining.. i couldn't get enough traction to get up the last ledge.
I always forget ur asian. Quit gettin my sliders muddy.
Nice vids! And I agree with Cam on his comment about staying in it.
BTW...sounds like you've got a bad u-joint on your driveshaft! Or do my ears deceive me?
Yeah that was like the 3rd or 4th try on that. The Jeep kept sliding to the side where I'd almost throw the passenger side into that rock wall. The Ranger was having the same problem.
It's off 1431 on the left if you're going to Austin, about 10 miles out of Marble Falls. The place is pretty new, I think they've only been open for a little over a year or so. Come to think of it they changed the name to Hidden Falls Adventure Park, but everyone still refers to it as Boulder Creek.
Hey just giving them one last good run, they're not gonna see that much wheelin anymore once they're on your Jeep.
What the really loud squeaking noise? Haha I think that's actually one of my shocks, it's been like that since we did Spring Creek a month ago. You can hear it every time someone gets in or out of the Jeep.

Nice pics and vids! Always nice to see a ZJ getting used on the trails.
If thats a shock making all of that racket- it would drive me insane!!
