Haha probably not. Im so against buying something already built, but the way I look at is for example, Im looking at this tj with a currie HP9 and a D30 front ARB 4.56s etc. I could sell the 30 for some good cash, swap my 44 in and still have money left. Also looking at maybe trying to snag a cheap rubi. I could make bank selling the 44s out of it and have a 4:1 case too.

the one on nc4x4? 03? its got 4.88s
    97 V8 zj.
35"KM2s.aussies,4.88s,full chromos,1 ton hi steer in the 44/8.8.KOR/Clayton longarms.

Whoa that price is unbelievable. Why would you give even close to 6k for that?

I'm putting my old stereo and sub into this one today, going to wash it and that's about it. Nothing major. Atleast not for a month or so. Its going to suck, hate driving it stock but I figured why go through the labor of it twice. Im going to buy stiffeners, brakelines, build a new crossmember etc and put everything on I can to prepare it for building the LAs and axles. Plus with the money Ill get from my tires and lift I can do the swap that much faster.

i can vouch, this thing is fast!! i was expecting a normal v-8 improvement over his old 4.0 but when he stomped on it, it puts you back in your seat. being a 5.9 makes up for it not being lifted right now. he can atleast blow the ricers away for the time being.

Matt the stiffeners came a few days ago. Dont remember exactly when since I didnt come home every day but I got them.

Got a late start, but basically I got everything bolted up on the rear. All I have to do is put the springs in, jack it up and then put the shocks on. Tommorow Ill finish that up early in the morning and then put on my radiator support and brakelines up front. Then when I get some friends to come over were gonna breeze through putting the lift on the front hopefully. I may trim the fenders if I have time or might just leave them for a little while. Im really hoping to have this thing on my 33s by Thursday. I think sunday the stiffeners will be welded on, then I can start focusing on the 8.8 again.

Got a little farther today. Had to stop when I went to put my control arms in and realized im missing two of those damn RE metal inserts that go into the bushings. This same thing happened to me last time. If anyone has two extras laying around id definitely pay for some express shipping to get them out here.

Im going to sell it, but figured Id put it on now while I was on break. That way I can do the 8.8 and 4 link, then build long arms for the front, do the 44 etc. Do it all in stages over the weekends and still have it driveable during the week. Last thing I need is to be without a vehicle for 2+ weeks while I worked a few hours here and there during the week to get my axle swaps done.

    Heres a better pic.

Also I found those two RE inserts. I wrenched a little this morning but Im heading to my cousins house for turkey day. Hopefully will have some time to wrench when I get back. Loosing daylight at like 5:00 is miserable. Tommorow the fronts going to get finished up though. Happy day.

Finished it last night. Drives smooth as could be, besides rubbing and my exhaust pipe slamming into my trackbar every large bump I go over. Dont have my digital camera at the moment, may be a little bit for some pictures.
