I am not running them anymore.. but when i had the factory wheels for a few months, i am pretty sure they were 2.25" or 2.5" thick. Can't remember exactly. And i sold them a while ago, so i can't double check.

just noticed you're not going to GSW this year??
Nope.. can't pull it off this year.. spending all my free time racing this sucker:
Our next race is near Salt Lake City next month, so its just too much to cram into one month.
Hopefully next year!
Your going to have a blast! It's a great trip.
Its a highly modified Yamaha Rhino with a 170hp 1000cc R1 engine, 16" of wheel travel, and this is where we take it:

Whats your affiliation with Lonestar Racing? I used to race a YFZ450 in a series local to me and spent a good deal of money there. lol
Im the design and engineerin manager for LSR. Cool on the YFZ. You still race it?

How much up travel do you have with those 12's?

Just some small updates.. I decided to beef up the little turdy a bit, as i don't have the time and funds to do a complete axle swap anytime in the near future. So i just ordered up an upper truss from TnT, some inner tube sleeves from Evo Offroad (44 magnums they call them, with zerks and seals), some Inner C gussets, and some new clevite bushings for my lower control arm mounts, as they have seen better days. I want to make sure i don't bend the axle again. These shocks are just begging for more abuse, and every time i take it out, i have to remind myself to keep it slow, and not put any extra stress on the front end. Once i get the housing all beefed up, then the next major purchase will be hydro assist. I have been in too many situations where i can't steer this sucker when aired down.
Parts are here.. just a quick test fit on the C gussets.. they will require some modifying to fit..
G
LOL it looks like an entire axle housing sitting there like that. Lookin good though man
Nice. Where'd you buy all that from?
Sweet man. Looks like you are on the way. I have been wondering how tight they fit to the inside of the tube.
I hope to order them next week.
Greg, any updates?
Not really... a few days ago i straightened the axle back out, as it was slightly off, and started doing some sanding to prep for welding. But in my lazyness, i decided to have Bryant @ Barbaric Fab install all the stuff for me next week. I will be doing the c-knuckle gussets myself, when they are done.
Ha! Im winning!
OK.. got the truss on, sleeves, and rotated the knuckles... had to remove the sway bar and mounts since those were hitting my tie rod and drag link pretty good, and also had to make some temp spring retainers since i need to change the spring mounts. But were good for GSW this weekend.. flexed it out, and everything cleared.
Its 38" from the ground to the bottom edge of the fork in that shot...
Also installed new lower arm bushings, and new johnny joints for the uppers, so everything is nice and solid again.
