Well I finally got my jeep ( heres what happened to my old one), I found a guy selling a already lifted WJ (link from MC and JU). I talked to the seller about the jeep and it sounded like it was a good deal so my friend and I drove down to Sac to check it out . Next think I knew I bought it .. this jeep is very clean for a 2001 , engine ran perfect and the tranny shifts really nice . The PO had removed the rear swaybar for better ride but after driving it over the pass with the wind and all I actually found it quite scary so I will be adding a Stock swaybar .
Here are specs .(copied from the for sale ad)
I know it kinda sucks that I didn't fully build this jeep but im just simply taking over a build . Which I don't mind because I pretty much planned on building it pretty much the same way but at least I knew it was done right2001 WJ Laredo

Do I need a SYE kit for a NV247 ?
With 6" of lift and LAs do I really need brake line extenders ??
Also I am going to be purchasing some Diff guards for my d30 and d44a what do you guys suggest on getting ??

Thanks Shin
who did you get the spring retainers from?
I have heard you don't need brake line extenders, they stockers are plenty long.
I would say unless your getting really bad vibes from your rear drive shaft, its fine as is, with no SYE, as long as you have a good amount of spline engagement. I don't think anyone runs an SYE on a grand that i have heard of.

I know that dude. He is near me. I actually bought a spare rim off him.
Pretty sure Aprilzwarrior did the Clayton's kit for him. Nice buy you saved a ton of loot getting it done already.
Nice buy. Glad the insurance deal worked out for you in the end. That's a pretty crazy story with what happened to the last Jeep!
thanks guys .. yes I did buy the spring retainers from IRO ..
Has any one ever used or have the Air compressor kit from IRO ? If so any thoughts ?
Yes he is on here also . He said he wanted to follow up on the build so I figure Id post it here too .
Yeah every thing underneath seems to be built very well and the TC skid is very cool can't wait to scratch it up . Aprilzwarrior & wonder371 did a great job and im glad to be taking over the build .

Was looking at your Dr. Smash dude. Has he built a WJ bumper or is he your local fab dude? Depending on how much I might be interested in having him make more than one if it may lower the price.....
Let me know your timing on it and what they are thinking.
Yes he is local fab guy with a great rep on our local forums I will be leaving my WJ with him next week so he can build it .
Here is some of his work .
