Alright, so heres my heep... 93 ZJ, 5.2L w/ tow package.

even In stock shape It was an impressive wheeler.

In 2005 The Jeep got a 3.5'' Rubicon Express Superflex Lift
    (Front half completed)

    (completed)

Then about 4 months later i went with 32x11.5 BFG Mud Terrains on 15x8 black steelies from Quadratec

Then in 2006 I took a welding and fabricating class for my senior year of highschool, and for a final project I built my own version of ATL ZJ's Front bumper.

summer 2006 brought about some changes to the ZJ, some good, some not so good...
First i wrecked the ZJ, by side swiping a Telephone pole...

second.. about a month after the Telephone incident, my D-35 decided that it had had enough and lost a C-clip when i went over some train tracks at about 35mph.. so I borrowed my sis's car for a few weeks while i tracked down a 3.73 8.8.. i ended up geting a 95 with drum brakes and Lsd and Re-using my D-35 brackets

since then the D-30 bearings exploded on me shortly after i got a Job delivering Pizza.. So i parked it and got a 4cyl Ranger to cover DD status... The jeep is awaiting rims to replace the ones that got destroyed when the hub went.
    I have a Jeep and it's Red.

heres a pic of the Jeep after i towed it home... ( you can see the 4cyl Ranger in the backround that I was surprisingly able to tow it home with.)

And Lastly.. i got bored today and started working on an OBA setup.

Well, after months and months and months of being down, with plummeting gas prices, and good weather, i had no choice but to resurrect the jeep.. I ended up going on 4 snow runs in 2 weeks

Got distracted, and ended up running into some soft snow..

3rd trip out, i did all the pulling and managed not to get stuck

And it just wouldn't be as fun if there wasn't a game to play once we got up there.

Also since I was last on here, i picked up a set of HP30 and 8.8 with 4.10 gears and a lockright in the 8.8 and a detroit of some sort in the 30.. all i need to do is get the ring gear bolted back on the 30 as it was removed for some reason, and put brackets on the 8.8.. plus the 8.8 has discs and I currently do not.
    I have a Jeep and it's Red.

dude it looks pretty sweet! sounds like you have had your fair share of unfortunate events with it though, that's too bad.

Ya i totally used your design 110%, worked out well, I changed a few things but not much. Only issue I've had with it was i bent the plate the winch mounts to as it was only 1/4'' plate

so at some point im going to have to go in with a grinder and put a new plate in and re-enforce the shit out of it!

we were just doing tack welds at that point if i remember correctly, either way Chris is a BADASS.

But ya, Shit always seems to be breaking on it, But its a labor of love I suppose. a few more paychecks under my belt and i should be able to get the new axles, gears, and lockers under it along with new pads rotors for the rear as I already replaced the front pads/rotors after towing it home with the ranger.

looking good man! planing on tossing some D-rings on the front of that thing?
96 ZJ swapped in 5.2, 242, 14bolt rear, big ugly home brew bumper, 7.5" of lift in the front 9" in the rear, long arms, hummer wheels with 37s... (dont worry front axle is next)

It should be heavy. Weight is a sign of reliability. If it doesn't work, you can always hit him with it.

Eventually, That and some Sliders and a rear bumper with a tire carrier on it probably a roof rack to hang some lights on too.. im just waiting on getting a welder.. I built that bumper in shop class my senior year and kinda ran out of time because the teacher wanted to enter it in the fair. Its not really fully finished to be honest, it still works though.

My jeep is back at my parents house in the bay. It needs some loving to get back to driving duties. Maybe I will get to work spring break and see what I can do.

Ya, it was fun for a while.. and the chicas loved it.. in the 3 months i used it i got flashed many many times.. never once in the ranger though even in 6 months with it. 12mpg and no gas gauge sucked though!
