Very cool rig, congrats on the win!
sweet rig, had my vote!
the driver's front brake hard line locked the win for sure
I can't believe the Mercedes steering wheel centerpiece wasn't at the top of the mod list!
Thanks guys!
ha, the only pics of the mercedes wheel I have are the ones I took today on my phone. It was 65 and sunny, so I decided to reskin the buggy.
What kind of weather do you need to redo the bugger welds?
I'm just jealous, as my trucks are 15,000 miles away for another couple months.
I guess it is a pretty 'neat' Jeep.
ever think to get a snap on cover or something for when its just sitting outside? or no?
Yeah I have thought about making a cover- in fact my dad and I were talking about it yesterday. Other than material being very expensive, the problem is that the snaps would get knocked off on certain trails where the cage drags along rocks. So I would need to figure out another means of attachment...
put the snaps on the bottom or inside of the tube?
Congrats, Cam! I'm definitely very envious of your buggy -- even moreso that it's street legal in Georgia...
Good job on the win. It looks pretty cool. I like the buggy look.
way to go man. looking good
I'm diggin the skins Cam. What did you use to cut that out...angle grinder?
Yep, angle grinder.. and the skins cut down the mud/water spray off the rear tires a lot more than I expected
