Thanks guys. Hopefully we can find a spot to put it through it's paces out there.
Some more bling showed up today.
Man, I keep on trying to talk myself out of one of these but it's not working haha! They are local to me and said they would cut me a hell of a deal if I can scrounge the money together...
What ratio did you end up going with?
I went with a 5.0. I think it will work well with the 4.56 gears I have.
Looking good Tommy! Thanks again!
Thank you Matt. Top notch service, and everything is right the first time. Can't ask for better. I will be giving you a call for another one soon , and you should be hearing from my buddy Jay as well.
Tommy
It's been a hectic few months. New job, and new baby boy. Tommy Jr. 8lbs 10oz and 21.5" long. So my time has been a little preoccupied.
A couple more bars in the cage and started building my seat sliders. Motor is ready to start, just need to get the genright tank and yj ho fuel pump installed. Getting closer....
I copied the poly performance sliders for a quarter of the cost...

Nice update! Congrats on the son! I can only imagine how hectic things have been!!!
Thank you! Hope to see you out at KOH, I will have some cold silver bullets for you.
I will be there! and I've decided the ZJ is for sure coming along haha
Thank you!
All the fuel lines are made. I hate bending and flaring crap. Big PITA, and the bender I used for the lines sucked. Genright Crawler tank is installed. Entire front is put back to gether. I just have a few things to finish up and this thing should be running.
I had to get creative with the lower radiator hose, and the genright tank has different size inputs for the fuel filler and vent hoses....
Finally getting there. Oh, and my left nut and maybe a kidney are for sale. I need some money for HAD driveline....
This thing actually started on Sunday. Not even a code and check engine light free. Took only 6 or so wires to get this swap to work. I started to weed out most of the harness and have a good amount of cleanup to do. But it runs, and it runs good. Pics to follow.
Some noise... Tach is hooked up and works, still need to hook up check engine led, temp guage, oil pressure and etc...

Genright Tank is in obviously. YJ H.O. fuel pump.

It's looking good Tommy, I can't wait to see this at the rock garden.
I like the license plate. Mine is 71BINDER
Thank you! My buddies reads SCRM8LR... Thought that one was cool.
I have been selling my body out on El Cajon Blvd for the past few weeks. Finally have some cash for my HAD drive shafts. All 1410, with a DOT approved 42 degree CV for the rear. I pretty much made things difficult when I raised the drivetrain like I did. Some more pics to come soon.
Tommy
I haven't been on mallcrawlin for sometime. Here are some updated pics. The kids and work have been keeping me busy. Progress has been slow.
Slow progress is better than no progress. Glad to see ya back around!
A little more slow going. I see a small light at the end of the tunnel. Kind of....
Taurus fan was also mounted. Plenty of clearance now, I had to modify the grill and hood to push the radiator about 4" forward.
Wow very impressive. Love the tube work. Cant wait to see her in action!!
Tommy you have any updates to show us? Its been a while.
Thanks for asking.
I have most of the cage fully welded now. maybe another 1/2 a day or so to finish up some small stuff. Hopefully my ruffstuff link kits will be in soon so I can get it on jack stands to start the suspension. I still have a boat load of work to do. Fingers crossed this thing see the dirt for the first time in 2 years at TDS....
looks sweet tommy, hopefully i'll see you out at TDS
