Thanks!
Paint is definitely on the short to-do list. The roof and hood are painted, now for the body panels.
looking good clay. btw, how'd you get your gas tank skid so beat up?
Looks great! The rear bracket kit forced my rear axle back about two inches even with the rear lowers adjusted as short as them can be, so I'm curious if you noticed the same thing to your wheelbase.
If so, setting up bumpstops might be a bit tricky due to the way the coils compress. You may need to setup bumpstops to your control arms.
LOL, some a-hole before me gave it some serious hell
My 8.8 is really pushed back, so much so that the gas tank skid had to be trimmed just a little so the pumkin would clear it. Bumpstopping is next, and the bumpstops on the control arms is a great idea, thanks.
These work well, too, if you can figure out how to get them on the shafts of your shocks:

I'm running 11" BBCS shocks that come with those bump stops on the shaft already. The shocks bottom out on the bumpstop nicely for me. I don't know I'd trust it high speed, but it's worked well for me so far with crawling.
LOL Elliott, but yours had a v8, right?
FINALLY, here is the brand new ZJ!
Specs:
- waggy 44 front, aussie locker, chromos, 300m joints, hydro assist, warn premium hubs
- explorer 8.8, aussie locker, dutchamn shafts with 6x5.5 bolt pattern to match the front
- Clayton long arm suspension with 4.5" RE springs
- Advance adapters SYE and Tom Woods rear drive shaft

On to the pictures:
Well here are some before and after pictures showing the change in height.

I took some measurements when I had the 1" OME lift on the ZJ and the middle of the door handle on the passenger side was 42" so a 7" increase over that lift/tire combo. Also an increase of 4.5" over the RE 3.5" superflex lift/tire combo.
The final outcome looks great Clay! I might have to stop by and check this beast out in person.
Thanks! Anytime, you are always welcome!
Thanks Elliott!
Great seeing pics of it on the road after all the time you've put into it. Now for some pics of it on the trail!
I can't wait to get her on the trail. I rode winch bitch this weekend, and it made me that much more excited to get her out there. Once the gears are broken in, I am heading out to the trail right away.

Hopefully I will see you at GSSE Slim!
