Yeah polyperformance. Spend the extra coin on the quad wrap ones. I'm running the dual wrap ones, but there are numerous reports of the dual wrap ones breaking (happened to a friend actually). A cheaper setup is to cut up some ratchet straps. jdconti did that after his first attempt at limit straps broke. After some tuning of the length, they were really effective.

Any type of fabric limiting strap is going to stretch over time, so make your limit strap mounts (or the straps themselves) adjustable to account for this. Or you can setup your straps an inch or two too short. In addition "shock loads" to the limit straps (i.e. dropping off of a rock and articulating the axle at the same time) will probably make them stretch a bit more.

EDIT: SDHQ also sells them. Although you might need to be a red star member over there to view this: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=857971

Anyone have any pictures of what the axle side and unibody side mounts look like?

I *think* I remember seeing Fuego's limit strap pics on his thread. Pretty sure it was before he ditched all those pesky body panels.

I'm sure other people will post pics anyway.

On the uni side, drill some holes in a plate/angle iron, weld on some nuts, make room on the unibody to fit nuts, weld nut plate to uni. The axle side you can use shock mounting tabs. I'm sure you could figure out an easier way to do it, but this setup has given me no issues. It was setup this way before the body panels were gone. In fact, i'm still running this same setup since I still have the uniframe.

What brand 300m joints you going with? longfields?

Keep them religiously greased or the hubs turned out when you are covering a lot of ground. I've seen some that wore out in short order when run with drive flanges.

They are Longfields, and I am using Warn Premiums, so they will be unlocked for all street driving. Instead of these joints what would have been a better choice (for future reference)?

I think the Long joints are a killer deal for the money. My friend who had trouble with them had issues trying to baja his slugged 60 around with rare maintenance and he has broken about everything else short of 300m axle shafts and a 205. The cross eventually wore flat from lack of lubrication. You should be fine if you do regular maintenance.
