a randome video of me on Ingreds Revenge
http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...deoid=41899523
Year: 1998
Model: ZJ 5.9 limt.
Drivetrain: 5.9, built 52RE, 231 sye, wide chain kit 6 pinion planetaries (about to get atlas 4.3), 1410 3" high angle drive shafts, nerrowed HP60 front W/5.13's Detroit, 35spl mosure Inner and outers, high steer, Drive flanges, < LP 60 rear, nerrowed, 5.13's, Detroit, 35spl. mosure shafts, disk breaks.
Suspension: revers triangulated 4 link front, with T-7075 aluminum links. 1.25 evo hiems and Re flex joints. triangulated 4 link rear, T 7075 links with RE flex joints. 8" soft ride coils all around. front anti-rock, bilstien 5100's
Tires: 42" tsl's on copperhead fab bead locks
Other Notable Mods: Be-cool rad. and fan kit. yellow top. trail-ready bumper. EOR cage. XD9000I winch, PSC full hydro with double ended ram. full belly skid tied to the rockers with integrated link mounts. 4" buldged stock fenders, Tj tank, FIPK, Jet chip, flowmaster exhaust, PIAA lights, bobbed and chopped rear, 12volt guy switch panle. and a bunch more
Favorite Mod: the axles (I can hit stuff as hard as I want without a worry in the world)
Least Favorite Mod: Jet chip and trail ready bumper. both are crap!
Favorite Trail: Ingrid's Revenge
Best Carnage: broke both 9/16 upper control arm bolts off at the frame. I did an all out assalt on a ledge and just hit it a little to hard. The front end set up in the air about 5 feet with the nose pointed straigh up and the motor wound out to the rev box. It made for a good show.
Congrats! Nicely built rig!
buggy? looks full bodied to me
sweet rig though. hope to be able to wheel with ya soon.
Congrats man! Keep beating that bitch up!
Very sexy! Congrats!
More pics
when it was new
after a few years of wheeling
I just put the new front clip on it, and buldged the fenders so I can stuff the 42's with out trimming
more randome stuff
Can I submit my other ZJ next month?

Nice ZJ!
Awesome Jeep man...it was freakin sweet before it got bashed up too!!! But I like the buggy look now for sure.
How does the bump steer feel with the triangulated front links?? I would assume since your axle goes straight up and down (instead of an arc if it had a track bar to follow drag link) it would give you some noticable amounts of bumpsteer.
I would love to do a triangulated 4 link up front, but worry about the bumpsteer that might arise as it goes through the travel. I am sure its fine for crawling, but for higher speed trail driving i would assume as you go over a bump with enough up and down movement, it will toss the steering wheel out of your hand. But with a 5 link type trackbar setup, the axle moves sideways a little as it goes up and down, so the steering linkage would remain constant if it was set up properly.
I want to be able to use mine for some higher speed pre-running stuff in the desert, as well as crawling, so bump steer is a big concern for me, espcially when dealing with 12" + of wheel travel (not articulation) that i want to be able to use fully with long arm type links.
Thanks for the insight,
G-
He is full hydro. You can't get bumpsteer without a draglink.
congrats
At least he understands what bumpsteer means, maybe he just didn't see the full hydro part???
Well at one time it had a drag link... and had bad bump steer. That's why now it's full hydro.
if I were you I would just do a true three link with panhard. kind of like I did on my buddys TJ
this is with temp. steering, track bar and mount. I went back and built high steer and a longer track bar to match.
sorry for the bad pics... but its the best I have.
