Found someone to buy all my 4.5" lift components and even the 33's. He'll be moving from a 2" BB on 31's to 4.5" and 33's while I move from 4.5" and 33's to about 6.5" and 35's. Works for me.

Went for a little wheeling trip that turned into an all day event. I was going down the trail and all of a sudden I lose my brakes. I try pumping it and it finally comes to a stop. Get out and on my passenger front I see my brake line hanging down. So I go in for the kill to see if I can fix it on the trail and see my shock is no longer connected to the mount, WTF? I nearly crapped myself and thought I had ripped the mount offthe axle. We immidatly turn around to get back to the main road. Let me tell you that wheelin with no brakes or front shock is the most difficult thing ever.

So we get back to the main highway after skilled wheeling by myself, wait skilled? I'm the one who got us into this mess. It got more fun when I couldn't get cell phone service out there. After about 15 minutes of walking around climbing up hills and standing on our vehicles to get service we give up and drive the jeep off a cliff. I don't have time for this BS.

Just kidding. We went to the nearest UHAUL and picked up one of those trailers that you put two wheels on. Get back to the jeep about an hour later and it's still there! No one stole it! Although they wouldn't have made it far without brakes. I go to but the jeep on the trailer and the straps that secure the tires aren't long enough! : To fix that I had to air my tires way down.

Ok we got it loaded up and we can leave now right? Wrong. I had the transfercase in N as well as the transmission. It would roll but then lock up and the tires would skid. Then tried transfercase N and tranny P, happened again. I decided to just take off the rear driveshaft and it worked perfect.

This time we can actually leave. Called Kevin from Kevinsoffroad to see if he could fix it and he can. My jeep gets to spend the night at Kevins shop and hopefully I'll get it back tomorrow!

After a broken track bar and no brakes I decided I either need to get a DD or a tow rig so I don't run into this whole not having a car thing. But then again I don't have any money.

I just got back from getting Lowis, bar pin eliminators added and two new brake lines. Apparently my rear track bar is rubbing the diff, add that to having to cut off the tail pipe to get it to fit equals a horrible design. I also need to get new brake rotors.

Here is a picture of whats happening to the rear track bar. It rubs the top bolt on the diff cover while flexing. The grove is almost 1/4 of the way through the track bar. Clayton rear arms has been bumped up to first priority even before installing the fronts. If you have a IRO rear track bar and a D44a I would go look to make sure you're not having the same problem. It is way worse than this picture makes it look.

And one of the new JKS bar pin eliminators.

If you add a 1" leveling kit to both the front and rear...is it a leveling kit anymore or just a 1" lift?

They are replacing it with one that will fit around the diff correctly

That's a good question actually, I didn't think about it really. I guess it would make it a lift.

Picking up my Aussie Locker next Thursday for $350, Claytons should be here some time next week and my new rear track bar should be here fairly soon as well. I'm going to have it all installed at once.

I got the Aussie that zj95 posted in the for sale section. I found it before he posted it though.

I wheel at Butcher Jones, Sycamore creek, 4 peaks, Crown King, and soon the table mesa area. As soon as I get my long arms on I'm going to hit trails like upper and lower terminator, box canyon, Martinez Cabin.

The first three are good for beginners though.
