I'm still looking for an axle to swap in the rear
Other than that, I think I got my list pretty much done ha
Still buidling my front bumper, need to repair the damage underneath from last year. Do not think I'll get to my rear bumper or Efan till after Moab.
Cutting out my WJ's rockers and tubing the fenders here. Gotta order some steel!
New front shocks (1 RE mono is leaking bad after 4 years of service), adjust Ox locker cable, bolt check, etc...
Installed SYE last weekend.
Have a new muffler to install as soon as I get my welder hooked up again.
Need to order some BFG MT KM2's (315-75-16) tomorrow at lunch.
Trimming my other rear fender in the next couple weekends...
Oh, and...
Had 4 of these show up on my door step while I was at dinner:banana:
Those are some bad ass looking wheels!
Snazzy wheels!

Ryan - you need to paint over the centercaps. Yellow is so 90s.
I just painted over the rock rash on my AEVs. Luckily Hammerite Black looks very similar to the powdercoat I choose for my AEVs.
I have the following to finish up:
1. Relocate and replace horns.
2. Trim up some unsightly sheetmetal remnants from factory bumper supports.
3. Install bumper end cap-to-subfame supports.
4. Rework the lower crossmember to allow better protection for bumper center sheetmetal.
5. Fab fairlead mount.
6. Cut off factory tow hooks.
7. Fab up mounts for and install Dodge Ram tow hooks.
8. Mount winch controller box behind grill.
9. Fab remote mount for winch controls receiver (relocate control receiver to now-empty access hole for stock windshield washer reservoir).
10. Relocate upper mounting holes for center sheetmetal section to get a tighter fit.
11. Fab fender well liners.
12. Install mounts for low profile fog/wheeling lights. Re-wire and mount fogs.
13. Properly install winch and rope (current bolts are borrowed grade 5s).
14. Time permitting (yeah, right), fab up a better washer reservoir mount.
I have to swap out the 2" rear spacers--they are almost ready to kasplode.
I have some joints wearing out on the rear suspension, but I highly doubt I'll get that motivated prior to GSW.
I've gotta rebuild my rear-end before...and fix my front ARB as well. Right now I've got 1-wheel front-wheel drive. Not sure that I can do much with that.
Oh I know I can run it open/open....I did it with my old XJ years back. However I'd rather not, and with how tough that trail keeps getting, open/open now days is merely impossible.
What I mean is I blew a rear carrier bearing last trip and need to replace that so I can re-install my rear drive shaft. I had to finish Pritchett last trip with only front wheel drive...and my front ARB has a leak (probably blown seal) so I only have 1 wheel drive currently.
Gonna fix it this and next weekend though since I'm headed to Moab over Memorial weekend as well
Time to trim next weekend I hope!
That is SICK.
I'm looking for an open seat.... I think I can get a ride to Moab but just need a seat for the trails. So... anyone want to get their bar tab picked up and let me ride along?
P.S.: Ryan, your dub is looking sweet!
I could probably use some help guiding Spike on Friday. We could split driving and spotting duties if you're up for a very long day.
Well shit...found out what's up with the front and rear. Good news is the front ARB issue is just a $20 easy fix. Bad news is the rear axle is toast.....well I mean I broke the spool, the pinion is a bit chewed up and has some very small fracture line cracks which I don't think should be run on. So rather than throwing $450 at this axle, I have 1 1/2 weeks to get a new axle, all the parts and install it for my Memorial trip to Moab....if I can't make that then I'll for sure make GSW.
Not sure on any plan yet, still having issues with my 6-lug wheel choice...What I do know is 5.13's are going in for sure.
