had to get my exhaust done and run out the back in order to pass inspection in january, and here it is...10 series flowmaster was the only thing to fit without moving the cat forward towards the engine
10 series-little dirty
route out, through shocks, by gas tank and sneaking by the limit strap with enough room to not contact loose or tightened...need to put the BTF cover back on the 8.8 too
route out
Glad to see she is finally back on the road!
gotta slight driveshaft problem. it hits when i go over a big bump, what to fix this problem?
and my underbody is getting a bit a rust, any suggestions of solutions to my shitty spray paint job not covering things well
the problem is that i didn't sand and prime the first time when the parts were in my friends driveway.
mistake.
I consider all pieces that go from one side of the unibody to the other to be a "cross-member". I know that isn't THE cross-member, but it still could be considered one in my book
Like you already mentioned though Brett, bump stops are probably the best fix here since I don't think you want to weaken that too much by notching it...
Technically it's a A-arm/wishbone
Three solutions I can think of are: Adjust your pinion angle down, lower the transfer case an inch, or add taller springs in the rear.
Of course all of those "solutions" will probably have other unintended effects that you may or may not notice: possible driveline vibration, less clearance at the tcase skid, altered suspension geometry/raised COG... respectively.
I was thinking about putting the 2" spacers you have me in there instead of the 1 inch that are in there now, because the back is slightly lower than the front anyways as it sits now
Want to hook me up with those 1" spacers?
Maybe, I've got all kinds of spacers at my house from cam and elliot
I have some two inchers for later, but right now I am trying to level the front and back, so I think taking out the stock isolaters and putting some 1" in there will work.
swapped waggy outer with the yukon outer that i've been meaning to do since i got the axles
warn premiums
Led rock lights getting in today after school and this weekend
Rock sliders going back on this weekend or this week since my spring break is this week
242 from elliots old rig finally going in this coming week as well hopefully
drive down here and we make bumpers
You see that requires $, and I have no $. That's why I am doing stuff to my jeep that's less than $60 total
Rock lights on, need another pair or 2 though til I'm satisfied with them though
i've got 4 12 led strip lights from advance auto pointed right under where the factory lower control arm mounts are for now. i tried to take a picture of them last night but it makes the lights look as though they have a very focused beam (which they do) instead of a spread out beam. picture looked like i had 4 flashlights pointing down instead of the area under my jeep being lit up.
i need to put some in the f/r undercarriage pointing towards the axles as well
i'll take a picture though tonight of what they look like anyways
those are outboarded aim to get light to pass side since theres a muffler there
wiring is still a work in progess, for now its wrapped all around all the lines running down the 'framerail', and the switches are tucked under the dash at my feet until i can find a good place for them. i was thinking about taking out the vehicle info center under the radio and air conditioning controls since it doesn't do anything because mines a laredo...but its a bitch to get that thing out. any suggestions for switch areas?
