Hi.
I'm a new member from Sweden and I will start to say that I like this place allready . ZJs built for offroad isn't that common in Sweden (yet), and I think my rig is the only ZJ with 38" so far. There is maby 5-10 of them running 35's but with stock D35/30 axles. I did so last year but last winter I decided to put portal axles from the Volvo C303 on my rig. Here's a pic:
And some more....
I like the bumper, where'd you get it?
Hallo my friend i see that you find the best forum
//Roger
Here is some tech:
Jeep Grand Cherokee -95 (Made in Austria)
5.2L stock engine
NP 247
K-links front and rear (homebrew)
Hydralic assist double-ram
38,5 x 14,5 x 16" Creepy crawlers
Inboard air (AC-compressor, 6 gallon tank in trunk)
Sparewheel in trunk
HiJack in trunk
Volvo C306 portal axles 7:1 vacuum lockers
Volvo C306 waterproof drumbrakes
IBM laptop for navigation
No-name china 9000 winch (will soon be put in back and replaced with 8274)
Homebrew 16" beadlock rims
Reverse-rotation front propshaft
27Mhz CB radio, sometimes 160Mhz
Volvo 200 series rear coils
Custommade front coils, my spec.
BDS supercrappy shocks (broke one today...)
Reinforced subframe
3mm sheetmetal rocker panels
Rocksliders
When I have some time to spare, an exocage will be built and all the bodypanels will be replaced. But first the front winch will be replaced and one put in the rear.
Sexxay!
Great build my friend.
Sick jeep. I like that mallcrawlin has gone international.
If you compare my bumpers and the ones on www.moosermetall.se mine are heavily modified in the corners. But they're really not that sweet anymore, actually they suck.... Might look good, but after 2 years my front bumper is coming apart. I just can't handle my 9000 lbs winch. Its bent and the welds are cracking. I'm making a new one in the front to fit the Warn 8274 so the old one will be dumpsterfood.
well they look cool, lol
Got any more pics of the rocker guards?
