I been waiting for a long time to put my ZJ on 35's with some KM2's for it.I got a 28in brake line and 1in spacer lift, so I should be at 6in lift which I really like with the 35's.Also got a charcocanister bracket from icelandoffroad,it picks it up higher so it out of the way. I but still got to push the axle foward because its rubbing the back fenderwell. When I turn during flexing!!
I also made some bumpstop out of YJ spring perches...Ill have more pics coming!!
More pics to come!!!!
Nice man...you may want to cap those rectangle tubes for bumpstop extensions, a hard hit would probably squish them without any support.
28" brake lines? Good god. That is how long pat's are, mine are 25's and I have yet to fully extend them.
I thought it was going to bend when I slammed on them on my last wheeling trip...but I do plan to cap them once everything is dialed in.
I had 22in one and were fully extended with the swaybar on..lol..So I got these RE 28in lines so I didnt have to buy new again!!
I got some full shots of my ZJ...35's are bada$$!!!!!
I had the bumper off for painting...once my rubbing is gone I'll put it back on!!!
Looks pretty damn good with those 35s. Hows 3.73s with 35s?
my friend with a TJ on 35s has 4.88s and Casey on here has 4.88s and 35s and they all really like it.
yea Im really thinking about 4.88 but not how it will do in the dunes I use my ZJ for DD,crawling and play in the dunes!!
I have 4.56's with my 35's.
If i were to do it again I'd go 4.10's since I do alot of highway driving.
Oh well, guess I'll just have to get some 37's to make up for it.
Brother has an XJ, long arm'd, 4.56 and 33's, loves it as is and gets about 18 MPG on the highway if that helps. Has a fresh 4.0L, AX15, Gibson header, K&N FIPK, Bored Throttle body, centerforce clutch...
I always think 4.88's are super low for 35's, but only because my mom(yes, my mom) has a 78 Chevy stepside with 4.88's and 44" Ground Hawgs, lol, and she gets 17 MPG with it on the highway....
I'd probably go with 4.56's and call it good...
What are the fox 2.0's valved at?

Well got a few goodies in today....I got a front frames plates made for my ZJ...I also got KOR rear bumper...which is sick..Should have it installed this weekend!!!
I got a chance to go down to Tommys to get my frames plates burned in..They came out really good!!!
sanded down the frame..
getting stitches!!
All done..looks sweet
No comments?...
Who made the plates for you and did you CAD them out? Were their rates were reasonable? are they 3/16 or 1/8?
Hmm...that almost seems worth it seeing as how much time it'd likely take just to cut out and drill those pups...
track bar bracket still fit well?
Andrew...give me a call back sometime. I got your VM but it cut out part of your number...and it wasn't on my caller ID. BTW guys...I'm coming out with a set of frame stiffeners for XJ's, ZJ's and WJ's. I couldn't find anyone that made them (well...one company does for the XJ's) and wanted something different that no one else offers on a regular basis (like diff covers). I installed the first set on an XJ last saturday. Those who will be at bigdogs this weekend will be able to check out what they look like if you're interested.
Sorry for the hi-jack Andrew! Back to your build.
