OTK=Over The Knuckle...ie a high steer setup with tie rod mounted higher.
UTK=Under The Knuckle...ie basically stock hieght, only bigger, better parts.
OTK will require relocated sway bar mounts, modified spring perches, relocated steering dampener, and ussually ends up needing a OTA (over the axle) track bar mount to keep the goemetry right thus preventing bumpsteer. Lots of work...but your sttering is far away from rocks, will hit axle first in most cases.
UTK is basically bolt on after reaming the knuckles to accept big tie rod ends. Not so much work...but steering is still down low.
As to the pricing, I was looking at the OTK setups. Tnts kit comes with more stuff, JCRs is cheaper but will require some fabrication. Anyways, if you look at the pictures and compare part numbers you will see that they are essentially the same. Good luck.
What make and price is you're front bumper.........thanx
I got the bumper from Fabtech....I welded the tube to make it work with the ZJ
Ok,I got my 1ton steering done.....way better than stock....I still have a tiny bit of bump steer...not sure why.....But I think because I need to get it properly aligned...
I recommend using the poly spacers jcr provides to put between the knuckle and TRE. It eliminates the dead spot you may have.
Very nice...thats a clean zj.
I would of really liked OTK....But to much work to put in a stock dana30....when I get my HP44 then I will do OTK.....but thats me..
I went to the 29th Annual Desert Run in Johnson Valley, CA.
The ZJ worked awesome.....I hit the rear bumper, front diff....the front arms got some nice scarps and so did the steering....but all in all it was fun
The only problem is that I had a little clunk in the front when I hit whoops kind of fast....Not sure wat it is...I went under and tightend everything down some more
Not sure if greasing will help...WAT DO U GUYS THINK?
This is my uncles FJ on 35's
My dads 74 bronco with a 331 stroker 425Hp, 35's and ARB's
more pics comming
I think some sliders would be a plus. Looks like a good time, nice pictures and nice rigs!
that bronco rocks
The only problem is that I had a little clunk in the front when I hit whoops kind of fast....Not sure wat it is...I went under to check to see if everything was tightend down...A few bolts turned maybe a half turn at the most...
Not sure if greasing will help ...WAT DO U GUYS THINK?
Also why does my ZJ have a right side body lean...I have new spring
I found that dumb clunk I had...shock bushing is jacked up....but I still have a right side body lean and I have new spring...any thoughts
How much does it lean?
The spring might be seated incorrectly or in need of spacers/isolators.
That seems to be the common solution around here.

My OME HD springs I had did the same thing. The driver's side sat just a hair higher to compensate for driver weight. Not 1.5" though. As dp96zj suggested, I'd check to make sure you have the springs clocked right, seated correctly, didn't forget an isolator, etc.

I got a lil update....I havent had much time to get stuff done...I started building my rock sliders....Not done yet...I havent had time to finish...also just got Bilstein 5150's 12" 255/70...I took the jeep out to the dunes to test the new shocks and the shocks are too soft in the whoops...it bounces alot, I cant go over 10mph...but I dont think its the bilsteins, I think its the dam spring...
Heres a few pics!!!
Another lil update...I got my rock rails put on.....also I put a 35's on just to so how it would look and it looks bada$$!!!
After trying my friends 35's I want them bad..lol..I might pick some up soon!!
I got tired of my bilsteins be soft...So I got some Fox 2.0's...there the best shock ever...lol..nice firm ride...I can prerunner a lil bit more now..I really recommed them over a bilsteins for offroading
I actually like the Bilsteins on my brothers long armed XJ- but it all depends on the setup and valving and unsprung weight that the shock is controlling. Whats the price tag on those by they way?
you paind $500 for shocks?
dear god.
let me in on this money tree..
