Hey guys this is my 3rd build thread on the interwebz. My first build was a 1996 jeep cherokee that ended up fully caged with 2 seats and 37s. Second was a 1998 jeep cherokee on 35s more functional. Well its been about a year since I have had a jeep or a project. And I am back! I lucked out and found this sick platform to start my build. Lift kit is already done and its exactly what I wanted.
2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee 90,000 miles 4.0l 4x4.
Bought her today for 8,000.00.
Shes got a 4.5inch Advanced Rustys Lift kit, Looks like some spacers on there as well. so thinking around 6.5inch lift.
33x20s
Got some nice 5150 bilsteins in the back and soon in front.
Interior is clean as hell looks brand new.
Whoever built this thing looks like they just dumped a bunch of money into it and then sold it. Brand new Tires. Brand new Rims, Brand New lift kit everything basically... Got a 7inch dvd screen in dash.
Runs like a champ...
My Jeep next to the Wifes 2009 Grand
Soon to happen mod.
Needs an exhaust currently stock and u cant here anything...
Intake
Thinking about aftermarket bumpers...
Might sell the rims and tires and get something less Eye catching.
Needs a sound system for sure.
Wanna upgrade the steering it there is defiantly some bump steer.
I just wanna go fast in this thing and then be able to slow down and crawl around when needed. This is only day one who knows what will happen next.
Needs more lift and less sidewall.
Top of the list for me would be to lose the 20s...
Well, It looks kinda looks like a 17 yr olds g ride to me. Maybe you could lose the wheel and tire combo for some 33x12.50x15's and 15x8 black steel wheels? The suspension "sounds" ok, but the wheels got to go. The bumpsteer is prolly from a 100lb wheel and tire with no sidewall and 35lbs of air.
Ya i didnt build it. I bought it with rims and tires. Planning on selling rims and tires very soon for a meaty 34
How is the ride at 6.5" on short arms?
Oh I saw your Jeep today here too
