Starting to post up some of our former wheeling pictures and videos. Now this was just after I got my jeep and was my first wheeling trip with it. Pretty much, this is where it all began. I wanted my jeep armored to help hold the winch and some lights. Started out on 225 BFG A/T’s. Got a roof rack for it off eBay and the fox racing guard.
Berk's friend Dan in his YJ on 32 BFG A/T’s
Berk of course in his former "trucks are better than jeeps" Nissan Frontier on 31 muds
Back then going in to the day was a little intimidating. Our first sight was…eek!
So we figured, we’ll make it through it!
Haha, so we I yanked him out and off we went on our trail run
Letting the other guys play around on the hill
And now we line up for a second attempt at the hole
And of course third time is the charm
And here it is in real time

And Berk and me riding through the trail

We made it back here many more times during school and I’ve made back a few times since I’ve graduated as well. As I keep finding I'll keep posting
for the love of all that is holly do not show the fist ever wheeling trip, i dont think weed ever hear the end of it.
Haha, oh I am going to. That's what you get for running me over. I'm going through all my pics and checking them out...just for you Berk!
if you post it im going to post both times you got stuck at my house and when you broke, you on the tow truck in Hburg and the list will go on
Starting to scrounge all those pictures up This was the most recent wheeling trip up in northern Virginia, Icebreaker 2008. Unfortunately my jeep didn’t make it up since my friends are a lot bigger than me…for the time being…
Here’s some pictures of each guys rig that I went with:
Here’s my friend Foxx in his white xj.
Here’s his Dad in his xj and of course me having a brewski on the side as I guide him up the trail
This is Bill’s tj also known as “The Incredible Hulk”
Our other friend and trail guide Don in his yj…I’m seeing a common occurrence with me
Our friend Chip in his Rubi
And this is my boy Berk in his xj, I rode most of the weekend with him
After I sort through the rest of the pictures I’ll post up some more with the action shots and trail rides :-P
Like I said I grabbed as few pictures from our northern Virginia, Icebreaker 2008 Big Dogs trip. 6,000 acres of legal wheeling and camping fun for the weekend. All my friends from my previous post are here in the action pics.
Foxx doing his thing going into the day’s trails
And chip rockin’ his Rubicon
And Berk with his XJ
Foxx Sr showing what his own XJ can do
Bill and his Rubi
And our friend and trail guide Don with his YJ
And now for some action shots throughout the weekend
At this point it started hailing on one side of the camp (our side of course) And this new stock JK tried going through a rough spot. Took 2 winches and some digging/shovels/and log removals but we got him moving.
The “Incredible Hulk” tanning
That’s pretty much what our trip looked like. Sorry, no action shots of the after-night parties, but I tried to give anyone that hasn’t had a chance to make it up to Big Dogs and idea of what its like and for those who have been they most likely recognize trails like Penciltuckey and a few others. Let me know if you want any more pictures, still got a few others. I know there’s a few videos out on youtube of some of the other trails and the infamous Mud Pit, feel free to check them out!
So...get to your build!
post the more current pictures you fag
Haha, I got to warm everyone up first with previous wheeling adventures! Then I'll post up some more recent work. Tom Woods are going in this week so it will be rolling, just not very far.
What's left
Haha, like a week or 2 of posting a bunch more action shots
I meant on the jeep
Oh lol
We just got the Tom Woods done. Finish the front steering up (waiting on TNT Customs to send in the jamnut), e-brake, exhaust, we need to relocate the rear coil mounts, cut off old control arm mounts, cut out rocker panel, mount new tires/wheels, etc etc. Plenty of work to go around
I like that red XJ
the front 9" is cool!
but the draglink makes me want to cry
hahhaahhaa thanks.... the red XJ is mine and the drag link and tie rod are going to be completely redone this weekend, but for argument sakes it never once bent or broke and its been through pennsyltucky twice and corrum 4 times at big dogs and many other tough trails.
and the 9" front is cool and all but the 30 knuckles are kind of well.... lame
and that JK took three winches by the way one with a snatch block about 20 feet up a tree
and seriously get to the good stuff fuzzy or ill start copying and pasting off of your photobucket because i have it bookmarked

Mods, should we change the name of this threat to "Project Post Wheeling Pics of My Friend's Rigs"?
That said, sweet pics. I love Big Dogs.
i dont get it it's a build thread not a here's my friends thing thats for myspace ...
Like Berk was saying I have a bit of work that I've been doing to my jeep but I'm just trying to give everyone the background before I post up. I figured post up some past wheeling trips of my friends and my own rig and then I'll show the work that's getting done to it.

So the Clayton LA kit for my ZJ came in a few weeks ago so the other weekend Maxx and I decided to start installing what we could while we wait for my 231 to come out of Pat’s TJ. Overall it went very smooth and I got a bunch of pictures of the install for everyone to check out
First things first let’s laugh at the tonka toy next to the monster truck
To fit the Clayton unibody stiffeners we needed to cut part of the brackets off of KOR Rock Rails since they were in the way. I’m selling these to my brother anyway so we’ll build some new brackets when the time comes. Cut away!
Picked up some gloss black spray paint from Lowe’s, let’s start painting the cross-member, control arm brackets, and spacer.
Put the jack under the transfer case to release pressure on the drive-train so that we could unbolt the old cross-member and tc mount.
Bolting the new cross member, tc mount, ca mounts.
Now that everything is bolted and welded in, time to sand down the contact spots for the unibody stiffeners.
Maxx is probably laughing for two reasons in this picture
And part of it sanded down before we start lining up the stiffeners
And now with everything grinded down, welding time. Go Maxx!
And some of the finished product on the driver side stiffener, look at those purdy welds
Control arm brackets getting welded
And the finished product
The install on the first part of my Clayton went great. Since we had the stock exhaust still on my jeep we decided to hold off on the passenger side until we cut that sob off since we wouldn’t be able to grind or weld everywhere we needed too. Any questions or comment and feel free to post up. If you need any more pictures I can post more as well
berk i thought those knuckles were dana 44s?

and no they are turdy knucks
and fuzz why in the hell did you call me, then not answer when i called you back and then text me like i wanted something..... wtf im starting to think you do get the award they are talkin about on NAGCA
