Hey there all,
I was thinking it might be cool if we could get ALL the pix that were taken at the event all put onto a couple of DVD's or something.
I think I have most of the pix that were taken by the folks that Jerod and I ran with, and was planning on doing a DVD of all of them, but got to thinking that it might be cool to put all the pix together with the other groups as well.
Is anyone interested in something like that?
I am willing to put it together if people are interested, you will need to burn all your pix to a CD/DVD and then send that over to me and I will compile all the pix into a single DVD or multiple DVD's as necessary.
I am not sure how or if you guys organized your pix, but I have them by date and then by person that took them (camera they came from) that way it made it easy for me to keep them straight when uploading them to my fototime site.
Anyway if anyone is interested in sharing their pix with the group that way let me know.
If this sounds like a dumb idea, well then let me know that also, just throwing it out there is all.

Just saw this post, Dirk. I uploaded some pics to ShutterFly for Cliffhanger on another post I just started, and am in the process of getting some up for Hell's Revenge. I'll try to burn some to CD and mail them your way.

That would be a great.Ron took a shit load of pics.He was every where at cliffhanger and Poision Spider.He was a madman with the camera.I want to give Ron a big thankyou for all the pics he took.

Good idea as you and I were talking on Saturday night Dirk. I'll make mine available on my FTP site a couple days after I get home. I'm actually still in Moab, leaving Tuesday morning. I'll have resized as well as fullsize photos up there (plenty of space, might as well, eh?)

Well sounds like we are a go then.
If possible can you put them in folders by date. Then burn them to a CD and send it my way. Please include your name and screen name so I can keep them straight. Then in a week or two when I have them all (or most of them) I will burn it all to however many DVD's it takes and then send them back out to who ever wants one.
As far as paying for them, well let me figure out how may pix we end up with and how many DVD's were talking and then I will see if I need any $$ to help with it or not.

I have 3.4 gigs of pics on my computer from GSW already . . .

Ok we have a problem. I plugged the flash drive in & it was down loading to the temp. As it was doing this I clicked on one photo to see it larger than a thumnail & I got some sort of error mess. I can't remember what it was though.
The down load stopped I think when I did that. Now all's I get is the photos that down loaded up to the point when I clicked on the thum. 128 photos. The last one was of Jarod's ram setup I took while he was fixing the hose on the planners run, There are over 1000 on the flash drive. Just over 4 gigs worth. Properties still shows it 4 gigs( 1 half full) full.
How in the hell do I fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I could run the fix file systems deal but I don't want to screw it up any worse than it is.

I had it posted all over the place that we were gonna make come hell or high water.
I discussed it with my wife last night about next year and she was okay with it so we are on for GSW 09 also, so you better start saving your pennies Kris so you can make it out to play.

If everyone can send me FULL RES versions that would be the best. Then when people get them they can resize if needed.
Feel free to watermark any pix that you feel necessary.
I generally just watermark the ones I post (more of a marketing thing than anything else for me).
Hopefully you have the pics from when Jerod and I almost endoed Dave, please tell me those ones are not missing in action.

I've got 1500 pics from me, Pam, Scott, Ron, Emily, and Putz. Gonna go through eliminate some of them to concentrate mostly on the Jeep stuff. I'll see if there's a pic of you guys endoing. If Scott got it on Thursday it SHOULD be there.

You mean the spot where the front came way up?? Yeah, that's on there. I'll get it on a DVD if I can find one, otherwise I'll just put it on a flash card or some shit.
EDIT: Also another note, everyone should to try to eliminate any non-family-friendly photos from the ones they send.

Yes the ones where there were like 6-7 people on 2 straps holding us down that's the ones we want.
Only family friendly photos, man that's no fun, I was hoping people would forget about those pix and send them along to me, HAHAHAHA.
Might make for some enjoyable viewing...
