I helped out my cousin with his unimog, the new family wheeling rig, installed some Ford Aerostar van springs in the rear for more flex. They turned out a hell of a lot better then the stock ones. I got to thinking, which can lead to trouble, has anyone used them in there rigs?

A good friend of mine tried them in the rear of his xj and they were way to soft. road like a slinky and off raod rather unstable.

I once had an Aerostar van that I wheeled and jumped the piss out of. Does that count? It did pretty well at the hill climbs but didn't land very well.
